A hideaway in the heart of Oaxaca de Juárez, this unique property was renovated using only elemental Oaxacan materials and created to offer an intimate earthen retreat for a sensual overnight stay. The home is a physical extension of mezcal maker De ELLA’s world—an experimental and creative space for curious minds, filled with handcrafted clay objects and with opportunities to sample the company’s award-winning spirits. The space This historical property offers an artistic retreat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Its furnishings are made from the water and soil of Oaxaca’s sacred valleys, and the home is filled with De ELLA's Black Clay Collection by eighth-generation artist Lalo Martinez. The centerpiece is a hidden room crafted entirely from raw earth, water, and recycled agave fibers from the mezcal distillation process. Guest access Guests have full access to the property, including private, elemental room built of raw earth and agave fibers. This sacred space includes a bedroom, bath, and a floating altar, designed for deep relaxation and reflection.
