Vacation home on the lake with dream lake view for four people

You’ll be renting a quaint, renovated vacation home—approximately 400 years old—in Donego, a hamlet of Cannero Riviera. The village is perched on a terrace overlooking the lake. It’s a magical place with a breathtaking view of the lake (stretching far to the northeast and south). If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’ve come to the right place. That’s because there are no cars in Donego. The “streets” are really just paths. Cars park right outside the village in a large, secure, and free parking lot. Hiking trails—from which the lake is always visible—also wind through the hamlet, connecting it to Cannero Riviera, a lakeside resort with an inviting beach, good restaurants, and shopping amenities. All in all, it’s an ideal spot for those stressed out and seeking relaxation—a special treat for hikers and whatever else you can imagine. Our house is accessible via the village’s main path. It’s about a 200-meter walk on level ground. The approximately 300-year-old house has been restored in recent years. The floors, the old wooden beam ceilings, and the two fireplaces exude an impressive charm. The house is laid out as follows: On the first floor is the kitchen-living room with a washing machine and dishwasher, as well as access to the terrace. From here, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the lake and the mountain range to the northeast. On the first floor is the living room with a fireplace and a sofa set; on the second floor are the bathroom, a separate toilet, and the two bedrooms, which can accommodate a total of four people. All rooms face the lake. There is also a balcony in front of the bedrooms.
