This nearly 100-year-old wooden house has been lovingly renovated into a cozy and comfortable retreat Chalet. At EULIUM, you’ll experience an unforgettable vacation at 1700m sea level – a place to relax, enjoy, and to find balance. The space SPACE FOR EVERYONE Two stylish bedrooms with king-size pine wood beds (for 2 people each), a creative reading and relaxation nook, a spacious sofa bed in the living room, and two lounge chairs that double as a cozy island provide restful sleep for up to a maximum of 6 guests. Perfect for families, friends, or small groups. The chalet features two spacious showers and one WC with washbasin on each floor. All rooms are equipped with underfloor heating, while the bedrooms feature electric fireplaces, adding a romantic and cozy ambiance. WELLNESS Enjoy a forest view from the pine wood sauna, the harmonizing effect of the Himalayan salt wall, or stargaze while soaking in the warm hot tub with massage function for up to 6 people. After a rain shower, unwind with an organic tea and an inspiring book at the fireplace in the lovingly designed relaxation area. Spacious terraces invite you to linger in the sunny alpine garden with hammocks, recliners, a fire bowl, and large seating furniture. SPORTS The ski slope is just a 10-minute walk away via a forest path. With over 20 lifts and 52 kilometers of slopes, the area offers the perfect setting for any winter adventure. When snow conditions allow, you can ski right back to EULIUM. The mountain summit at 1909m, offering a magical panoramic view, is about a 30-minute hike. For thrill-seekers, we provide two sleds for fun on the toboggan run. In summer, well-maintained forest trails invite you to hike or mountain bike through breathtaking landscapes. Paragliders can often enjoy perfect thermic conditions, offering stunning views of Carinthia. A paradise for sports enthusiasts! CUISINE The modern, fully equipped kitchen at EULIUM, complete with a dishwasher, oven, toaster, and steam cooker, allows you to prepare delicious meals – perfect for hobby chefs and gourmets. A large dining table and oak bar provide sufficient space for social gatherings. Within a 60-minute walk, you'll find three cozy huts and two hotel restaurants serving regional delicacies. The nearest supermarkets are in Treffen and Villach, about 30 minutes by car. Regional products, including wine and tasty juices, are available in the in-house minibar. The tap water is alkaline and of the highest drinking quality – perfect for a healthy detox time. EULIUM QUALITY For a worry-free stay, towels and bed linens are provided. A modern washer-dryer is available for your laundry needs. Wi-Fi and two parking spaces are free, as is firewood for the fireplace or the garden grill. A large flat-screen TV with a Dolby surround system, Prime- GAIA- and Netflix access ensures thrilling movie nights. For your safety, the property borders, entrance area, and parking spaces are video monitored. The entire area is a non-smoking zone, and pets are not allowed. Adults only – children from 14 years old are welcome. We kindly ask guests not to use the chalet as a party house. It’s a place for relaxed well-being and experiential vacations. Guest access You can use the entire chalet, with the exception of marked or locked technical maintenance areas. Other things to note ACCESSIBILITY The EULIUM is easily accessible from the following airports and cities: • 51 km to Klagenfurt Airport (approx. 1h) • 101 km to Ljubljana Airport (approx. 1.5h) • 190 km to Graz Airport (approx. 2h) • 202 km to Salzburg Airport (approx. 2h) • 208 km to Trieste, Italy (approx. 2h) • 341 km to Vienna Airport (approx. 3.5h) You drive by car to 9543 Arriach in Austria. At the base of the Gerlitzen, the “Gerlitzengipfelstrasse” begins, an 8 km ascent on a well-maintained but narrow road. About halfway up, there is a toll barrier that opens after paying the €10 toll fee (cash only). Approximately 1 km before the summit, you reach a rise (Stifterboden) with a few small alpine huts on both sides. Here, turn right through a wooden gate, continue about 300 meters past the huts, and then descend another 50 meters to the right. The Eulium is on the right-hand side, easily recognizable by the large wooden owls on the terrace. You will also easily find it by simply typing the location in Google Maps.
