Old cabin with soul, good sun conditions by the lake

Welcome to Espedalen, wake up to tranquility in quiet scenic surroundings. Take a nice morning swim in the lake a few steps from the cabin, or paddle a canoe. There is a large outdoor area for outdoor toys, yoga and ball games for all ages. It is only a 5 min drive to the city center where you will find grocery stores, a liquor store, an interior design store and a cafe. There are great hiking areas nearby. There is no road to the cabin, it is about 250 meters by boat, but boat is included in the rent. The space There are 2 bedrooms in the main house with beds for 5. In the annex there are 3 bedrooms. The property is 5 acres and there is plenty of space for large and small guests. It is 30 minutes to Gautefall where you will find many nice mountain trips all year round. There is room for 10 on site. For each guest over the number of 5 that is booked, there is a fee of NOK 200 per person per night. Bed linen and towels for an extra charge. Guest access Parking is free. A boat with a small engine is included in the rent. Everything in the area can be used, except for the storage room in the annex, where the owner stores private belongings. Only 30 minutes away from Gautefall, to amazing hiking areas. 1 hour to the cities of Skien and Porsgrunn, where you will find shopping centers, restaurants, parks, water parks and cafes. 45 minutes to the summer town of Kragerø with lots of boating, clothing stores and restaurants. Other things to note There is a wildlife camera mounted on the main house and on the west wall of the annex, but these are turned off when the cabin is rented. In addition, there are short periods during the winter when ice settles on Toke, as well as the period when it melts in the spring. This means that it is not possible to get there until the ice is thick enough to walk on. This happens first in January, the melting usually happens between March and April. Because of this, it is not possible to rent the cabin before May and the last month to rent is October. Toke water is regulated, so there may be little water at times, especially in periods of low rainfall. The Osei water (the water below the cabin) is drinking water and motor traffic is not allowed, except to and from the cabin.
