Old Town garden house & sauna

The Garden House nestles in our "secret flower garden" along Tammisaari Old Town's most pittoresque and peaceful little street by the sea. The House has its own entrance, two sunny corners for breakfast or evening glass of wine, a charming bedroom overlooking the garden to two directions, a separate toilet, a fully-equipped kitchenette and a wood-heated sauna with showers. In summer, you can go swim in the sea in from the little beach around the corner! All you need in life is here. <3 The space Our unique Garden House nestles in the middle of our secret flower garden, in the centre of idyllic Tammisaari Old Town. The house is tastefully decorated with Finnish design classics, antique furniture and art. The peaceful and calm little house has its own entrance (garden gate is shared), a hallway, a beautiful bedroom overlooking the garden onto two directions, a cute toilet and a modern, fully equipped kitchenette (no oven or hob) with a dining area. The wood-heated sauna gives very good "löyly"! In the summer, you can go swimming from the little sandy beach right by the house. Towels, linens and basic bathroom + kitchen essentials are all provided. There are also many great books, comic books and board games to enjoy! The large garden has two "guest corners" - one with French cafe table + chairs and the other with a big wooden swing. (Rest of the garden is used by our family of three + a very friendly dog called Leimu!). The garden is full of apple trees, berry bushes, lilacs...and dozens of different flowers that bloom throughout the spring, summer and autumn. The location is amazing: right by the sea, beaches, parks and very near nature reserve Ramsholmen. Also close to lovely cafes, restaurants, shops, the market, museums and Finland's oldest cinema around the corner! FREE AND EASY PARKING along the nearby streets and seashore! If you want to borrow a bike, just ask. We have two for guest use. Welcome! <3 Guest access You have access to the whole space with your own entrance. You have a sunny corner of the flower garden with table and chairs, right by your own bedroom windows and another one with a big wooden swing at the other end of the Garden House. Cars are easy to park along the nearby streets or the seashore - free of charge! If you come by bike, they can be kept in the garden. Other things to note We welcome guests who come to Tammisaari Old Town to rest and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful historic surroundings and nature. Please, wear only socks or slippers in the house. Please, PLEASE, do not use perfumes or strong smelling deodorants / hairsprays etc. as we have migraine sufferers in the house! Small(ish) and well-behaved dogs are always welcome! Our dog Leimu may wander around the garden now and then ~ she is very friendly and loves everyone! :) Thank you! <3
