Nestled in the middle of a small field, it offers views of the pond, a tamarack forest, and stunning sunsets from the covered deck. In the winter months, you can enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or walking the 2 to 5 km loops of trails. Our resident chickens provide fresh farm eggs for breakfast, and we supply the coffee and tea to start your day right. The galley kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need, including a full fridge, gas stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, and all the cookware you'll require. Bring your fishing rod and try your luck at the stocked trout pond, or simply relax on the cuddle couch with a good book. Firepits and wood are provided for wonderful marshmallow roasts. Just 6 km from Rocky Mountain House, our property is a short drive to the beautiful Abraham Lake and the community of Nordegg. Crimson Lake is only 15 minutes away, offering opportunities for boating, paddleboarding, and enjoying lovely beaches. There are also countless backcountry trails perfect for horseback riding. If you’re an equestrian, we provide a great place to bring your horse for an overnight stay or to participate in local clinics.
