Downtown, Maracanã and Carnival
Downtown, Maracanã and Carnival
Description
The double bed room is still available for the World Cup, so I have got two rooms but only one ad. It's cozy and close to the Bus Terminal, to Santos Dumont Airport and to the city center....it is possible to come and go o Maracanã walking. The space Two bedrooms cozi, clear, clean, windy and happy sweet home. Made of Brazilian wood and stones, with a beautiful bed in Venetian style. Close by bus or by subway to every important part of the city, including the comercial center and turistic sightseeings. You can easily reach banks, supermarkets, laundry, restaurants, beauty parlors by just walking. Five minutes away from Novo Rio State bustation, ten minutes away from downtown with the Municipal Theater, Municipality, Central Train Station, Museums, Rio Branco Avenue, Presidente Vargas Avenue... I like to host and meet new people from different countries and cultures. Come and let us introduce you the City of Football! Guest access If you need a room with airconditioning access, you ask for it in advance (the price must be different, since during summer it is necessary some times and during all year long it might be not) If you want to have your clothes washed you you pay R$20,00 per usage plus R$6,00 the use of soap if you dont bring yours. This is around U$8. The tax of the airconditioning is R$25,00 a day. This is around U$8 in the low season. During Summer or other events it can even be higher, so, please read all the rules of the house before booking and ask the right questions. During your stay I like very much to interact with guests, but remember I am a tour guide, so some sightseeings must be ordered in advance in a professional way. When you get here I will be pleased to provide you with some hints about the big city. I am sure you will be happy with the suggestions. There are some places that you don't need a guide at all, but there are others that I would recommend that you hire one, so that you can take the most profit of what our city has to offer! If I am home and have availble time I like to have small coffees with my guests and take the chance to talk to them to get in touch with their culture and get to know about their experiences around the world. I also love travelling. Other things to note Smoking and drugs won't be allowed. Any abuse will be reported. Bring the number of telephone of a relative to deliver upon arrival just in case of an accident (it is for your own safety and for the others in the building). The building is a very good one with respectful neighboors. Downstairs it looks like a commercial building with many bureaus of Real State Agency called Lider. To come in and out you will get the key of the front gate upon delivering a telephone number in your country. In case you want to visit Museums and Libraries have always with you a copy of your passport, your drivers licence or your ID. If you want to withdraw money from Itau and Bradesco Banks just across the street, please make sure you have authorized your bank to proceed the ATM transaction. Downtown you can exhange your money at PM Turismo which is in Avenida Rio Branco close to Largo da Carioca (take buses 217 till the final stop and walk backwards) or take 422 and get off Av. Rio Branco infront of it. Down Copacabana you can exchange your money at Posto 6 infront of Forte de Copacabana, in Avenida Copacabana, 1425 inside the Shopping Cassino Atlântico, second floor. Prefere having a copy of your passport always with you instead of the original. Try not to draw too much attention upon you by speaking in a foreign language inside the bus. Don't show up your cameras while inside the bus or on the streets. And wear sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen to avoid getting burned.
