Heron Hollow is a charming family-friendly cottage, which has recently been lovingly renovated. Surrounded on both sides by mature trees and looking out towards a sheltered cove, this private cottage is ideal for visitors looking for a relaxing oceanfront retreat. The cottage is open concept with a wall of windows looking out over the large tiered deck and to the cove beyond. The living room is comfortably furnished and is a great place to relax and watch something on the flat screen TV. A newly renovated kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, and enjoys an eating bar with seating for three. The dining table seats 4 to 6 people. There are three comfortable bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and two with double beds. The shared bathroom is bright and has a combination tub and shower. Stroll down to the waterfront where you will want to spend hours taking in the sights and sounds of St. Margarets Bay. A rustic “boat house” is there for your summertime enjoyment. It has a queen sized bed and a seating area, but no washroom. The large deck stretches along the back of the private sandy beach, and leads to a wharf with a floating dock. This is a great place to swim, as the water is deep and crystal clear. In the evening you will undoubtedly enjoy the deck, where you can sit around a campfire and stargaze. This unique property is well suited for groups of up to 6 or 8. During the summer, it is kept cool by the air conditioning and in the winter, kept warm by a heat pump and a gas fireplace. It’s a wonderful place to be any time of year!
