The bedrooms offer tranquility, with skylights and large windows framing views of the lush greenery. The lounge features a living and dining area with a pantry, opening onto a covered outdoor deck. Here, you'll find a beautiful lap pool ideal for relaxation. The deck also has a widescreen projector for movie nights under the stars. Earthsong is the perfect Coorg retreat for those seeking connection with nature and loved ones. Along with its sister property, Birdsong (a 2-bedroom villa with a pool), it's an excellent choice for small group celebrations. Lounge The lounge comprises a large living & dining area with an open pantry. Large circular sliding portals look out over the plantation or into the lap pool. Semi-circular divans are set into the windows like hammocks - perfect for reading or snoozing. There is a large TV and board games to use. The Deck The lounge spills out through floor-to-ceiling glass doors onto a covered deck that extends into the estate foliage. Perfect for a poolside sundowner, it features comfortable seating for relaxing. Lap Pool Nestled between the lounge unit and the plantation facing room, the lap pool offers stunning Kodagu valley views. At night, it transforms into a theater with a wall projector. Bedrooms Three air-conditioned bedrooms - two facing the garden and one facing the plantation have large four poster king beds with wardrobes and luxurious bathrooms. The pièce-de-resistance are the remote-operated skylights which open up to views of the canopy and sky. Large floor-to-ceiling windows let in views of the foliage. Sit by the private patio, enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee. Guest access Earthsong (this listing) and its sister property, Birdsong (2 rooms) are separate units. Booking one does not permit access to the other, unless both are booked together. Other things to note We are delighted to welcome your furry companions. Sharing a few guidelines to help make their stay comfortable. Do carry your own pet bedding, blankets or throws, as we do not provide doggie beds. Do not forget their towels, water bowls, treats, and favorite toys to help them feel at home. Pets are not permitted to climb onto or sleep on beds, sofas, or other furniture. This helps us maintain a clean and comfortable space for all guests. Please clean up after your pets, both inside the villa (in case of accidents) and on the villa grounds. Please wipe off muddy paws and ensure they are sufficiently dry before they enter the villa after their walk. REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT Please note that a refundable security deposit of INR 20,000 will be collected immediately after booking confirmation. This can be paid via NEFT or UPI. The security deposit will be returned within 5 working days after checkout, minus any claims for damages, if applicable. Entry to the property will not be permitted unless the Security Deposit is paid. SIGNED BOOKING CONTRACT A booking contract form will be sent to you. Please fill-it, sign-it and send it back to us along with soft copies of photo IDs of all guests. INCLUDED SERVICES Breakfast is included in the rate. For other meals (chargeable) we have The Blue Door Cafe located within our estate (a serene 5-min walk from the villa) operated by an independent entity. Breakfast is prepared by the Cafe and served by our team at the villa. You can order off the Cafe's a la carte menu, or from a choice of recommended restaurants located nearby, which our team would be happy to pick up and serve to you at your villa. Any meals other than breakfast are charged as per the restaurant menu. Payment to be settled directly. Booking one does not permit access to the other, unless both are booked together. - Keep your mosquito screens on all the time to avoid critters. For safety, please close all windows and doors when leaving the house. - During tours and treks inside the plantation, always be accompanied by villa staff. - External perimeter lighting is kept switched on through the night to deter the movement of elephants in close proximity to the villa. - Be sure to carry a torch and walk to and from the restaurant at night in groups - Elderly guests and children must always be supervised, as the pools are unprotected. - Indoor spaces are non-smoking. If you wish to smoke outdoors, please use the ashtray provided. Coorg faces an acute water shortage. - Guests are requested to use water prudently during their stay. - Like other hill stations, electricity quality is erratic in Coorg. The villa has 100% power backup by genset in case of power cuts. - The coffee harvesting and processing season in Coorg is typically in January and February. The coffee pulp, a byproduct of the processing, is composted to produce organic fertilizer for the plantation. You may experience plantation realities like fertilizer scents, insects, etc during the processing season and monsoons. - Leeches abound in Coorg from March till October. While on a trek, carry salt or Volini, to help them unlatch. Do check your clothes and shoes after treks and trails.
