Spectacular views with easy access to the Columbia river. Golden is in the heart of many National parks (Banff, Yoho, Revelstoke, Kootney & Jasper). This is a modern cabin with a cozy cabin feel. It's very bright and clean at just under 3000 sqf. Located 7 minutes from Golden, 20 min to kicking horse. If rules are not followed, the tub could become contaminated and the hot tub company won't be able to exchange the water in time for next guests. Note that if this keeps occurring, the local company may quit and the hot tub may be shut-down permanently. Rec Room - included in pricing. 9' Solid Mahogany pool table, fridge, 2 Foosball tables, Sony Android TV's, Movie Room with Home Theater. The cabin has everything needed to enjoy your stay. All linens and towels are included. Cooking utensils, plates, pots, pans, herbs, cups. Fridge has an ice maker with water dispenser. A travel crib and an extra fold-up table with fold up chairs is also included if required. Chopped firewood is included. There is a 4th bedroom, but is quite small and has a small pull-out sofa that sleeps 2. Layout: Bedroom 1 - Single Bed with single trundle, single over double bunk Bedroom 2 - Single over double bunk, single trundle Bedroom 3 - King bed Livingroom - 2 queen pull-out sofas Den - 1 single pullout sofa Basement - single sofa from sectional in movie room. To prevent bears from having to be put down, there's a large metal garbage bin at the bottom of the driveway. Key to bin is attached to house key in lock box. Code will be provided half hour before Checkin. No early Checkin or late checkout permitted in peak months(Dec-Mar, May-Sept),as property management needs sufficient time to turn over. Property management may become prime in communications. There is a coal train that goes through the valley that you can't escape. It's not often but you may hear with windows open. There's also the hiway to radium that you may hear noise from time to time. At the beginning of the driveway there's a small cabin that I or kids may stay in the odd time to do maintenance to the house or snow removal. It's out of site from the home. I'll notify guests if I'm there and open to as much interaction as wanted. Pergola/firepit is a shared area at the edge of the lot. But if you want privacy, happy to accommodate. Just notify myself. Guest access The house being built on the side of a mountain has a steep driveway as many do in the area, winter conditions may require 4*4 vehicles or winter tires. However driveway is plowed regularly. If you travel with a rented care that isn't provided with Winter Tires, it may be easier after a large snow fall to leave car parked at bottom of driveway and walk up. Snowmobile trailers can park on driveway. Instructions will be Portuguese in arrival guide 2 days prior to Checkin. Other things to note Must notify host if a family reunion, wedding or large get-together wanted for this reservation as coordination/other costs will need to be discussed.
