After years of traveling and staying in vacation homes around the world, we’ve poured our favorite details—and avoided the common pitfalls—into creating a stay that’s comfortable, seamless, and memorable. The space The Palmera sits on a private corner lot with no direct neighbors beyond the perimeter walls—giving you exceptional privacy and room to relax. While the home is conveniently located near a main road for easy access to local shops and venues, please note that traffic noise may occasionally be heard. After a day of desert adventures (or Zoom meetings), there’s no better way to unwind than a soak in the Palmera hot tub. For remote workers, the home features a private office just off the primary bedroom, plus an additional workstation in one of the guest rooms—ideal for couples, friends, or families balancing work and play. We love hosting pets and families. Forgot your doggie bags? We’ve got extras. Wish you could bring your cat on vacation? They're welcome at the Palmera! Traveling with little ones? The Palmera is stocked with family-friendly essentials: a Pack 'n Play, baby monitor, high chair, silicone bibs, and more. Good to know: Hot tub heating is always included in your stay. If you'd like the pool heated as well, we offer it for a flat fee of $100/day. (Note: Like many systems, the spa and pool heaters cannot run at the same time.) Guest access Guests have full private access to the entire property during their stay. This includes: - All 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances including a KitchenAid Mixer - Private backyard with pool, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor lounge spaces - Dedicated home office with external monitor (accessible via the primary bedroom) - Additional desk workspace in a guest bedroom - Washer and dryer - Attached garage with EV charger - Driveway and street parking options - Check-in is simple and secure with a smart lock system. You’ll receive a personalized code before arrival—no keys needed. - For your safety and peace of mind, the home is equipped with outdoor security cameras monitoring the front yard and driveway area only. There are no cameras inside the home or in the backyard. Other things to note Pet-Friendly Perks: We welcome well-behaved dogs and cats at The Palmera! You'll find thoughtful amenities for your furry companions, including waste bags, food and water bowls, a cozy dog bed, a cat tree, and a scratcher box so that your traveling pets can feel at home. Please note that dogs must be crated if left alone at the home! Family-Friendly Amenities: Traveling with kids? We’ve got you covered with a Pack 'n Play, high chair, baby monitor, baby gate, silicone bibs, plastic plates and cups, and kid-friendly utensils making mealtime and downtime easier for parents and little ones. Fitness Essentials: Stay active during your stay with a set of light weights and a yoga mat, perfect for a quick workout or stretch session indoors or outside. EV Charging: The attached garage features a Level 2 EV charger available for guest use. Tesla drivers, please remember to bring your adapter, as one is not currently provided.
