The space Halia is a lovingly restored 1986 Hunter Legend 45, designed by Warren Luhrs to be a racing/cruising sailing yacht. She sports a B&R rig with a solid lead keel for sailing performance, and an interior fitted out in teak with two cabins and two heads, full galley, and a 14'X14' salon for living comfort. I have recently returned to Key West from a two year voyage which took me through the Bahamas to Hispaniola, Colombia, Panama, and the Cayman Islands. Shared spaces include a 14' X14' main salon, comfortable cockpit, and foredeck for sunbathing. Equipped with air conditioning, stereo with bluetooth connection (bring your favorite music), full galley, 43" smart 4k TV (bring movies or pictures to share), SUP (paddleboard), snorkeling and fishing gear, and a 2 person hammock. You will never be sharing with other guests, but I will always be aboard for your comfort and safety. This is a private, exclusive charter experience. During your stay For your safety my wife Annie or I will be aboard with you at all times. For your privacy and comfort, our cabin and head is located at the opposite end of this 45' yacht. We are happy to "talk story", watch a movie (popcorn included!), play music with you, or retire to our cabin to afford you peace and privacy at your pleasure. I am now semi-retired after a lifetime of professional sailing. I maintain a USCG 100 Ton Master license, STCW, TWIC, and PADI Rescue Diver certification. I am trained in Outdoor Emergency Care (5 years Ski Patrol), and have sailed thousands of miles offshore in all weather, from Maine to Venezuela and the entire Caribbean Sea. I have been chartering my own boats since 1990, and mastered others too numerous to count. Your comfort and safety is always my top priority. Other things to note Please note: Sailing is a sport, moderate physical agility is a must. This is not a Disney Cruise, some degree of physical fitness is required to safely stay aboard. You must be able to climb a short ladder to board the boat. If you are 300 lbs with bad knees this can be dangerous, please consider other options. The boat is on a mooring offshore, so you'll need to ride in a dinghy and climb aboard the boat in two large steps. Please inquire for details if you think this may be problematic for you.
