You’ll need a North Carolina fishing license and a $4/day permit, which you can easily purchase at the Lake Julian Park Office. 🛶 For motor boats, they only allow electric motor boats, gas powered boats are not allowed. Kayaks and paddle board are allowed. Park Rules: No swimming in Lake Julian Keep dogs on a leash No weapons and no alcohol 🛑 Guest Safety Tips: ✔ Secure all trash properly. ✔ Do not leave food outdoors. ✔ Never feed the bears. Other things to note: 🐻 Black bears are occasionally spotted in Western North Carolina, adding to the area’s natural charm. *Please note that firewood is not provided.
