Welcome to our Cozy 78 sqm Apartment! We offer a charming, fully private 78 square meter apartment on the 1st floor, completely separated from the rest of the house where we reside (2nd and 3rd floors). This ensures that you have total privacy during your stay. The space Location: Nestled between Kyoto and Otsu City, our home is just a short 15-minute drive down the hill. While public buses serve the area, they are infrequent, so we recommend bringing your own car. Free parking is available on-site. The location offers an international, family-friendly environment surrounded by nature—perfect for a summer escape from the noise, heat, and hustle of the city. The area is rich in nature, and we frequently receive visits from local deer. If you’re lucky, you might spot one in our garden during the early mornings! Guest access The property offers three bedrooms, a private entrance, a toilet, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Upon entering through the private entrance, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. For families, we provide children’s picture books and toys to ensure an enjoyable stay for the little ones. The first bedroom features a double bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with two single beds. The third room serves as both a cozy living area with a sofa and an additional bedroom, as it can be equipped with a single bed. The space comfortably accommodates up to five adults. We can also provide additional mattresses (Japanese futons) upon request. For bookings exceeding five guests, or if you prefer futons for children, please contact us with the number and ages of your party before making a reservation.　:) Other things to note Family-Friendly Amenities: If you're traveling with a baby, we can provide cribs for rent (1,000 yen/day). Additional items like bouncers and baby gyms are available free of charge—just let us know in advance. Important Notes: We set a maximum occupancy of 5 adults but can accommodate infants or young children sharing the same bed. Please contact us for more details if this applies to you. In case of change to number of guest sthe fee is 4500¥ per extra guest per night. While you enjoy complete privacy on the 1st floor, please note that we live on the 2nd and 3rd floors with our 4-year-old, who may occasionally make some noise from above. However, this is generally minimal, and the house becomes very quiet after 8 PM.
