5 bedroom countryside home in Jersey

Our home is located in the peaceful countryside north of St Helier, with easy access to the Island’s town, beaches and attractions. The house is well equipped and furnished and makes a super base for excursions, with a bus route just 2 minutes from the house. You will have full use of the house and garden, and also the orchard that borders the property. An electric car charger is available in the driveway and you are welcome to use the BBQ. A great spot for a holiday or a family get together! The space The ground floor comprises: - hallway - open plan kitchen/family room/dining room - utility room - sitting room - study (including two screens and a laptop dock) - cloakroom The first floor comprises: - master bedroom and ensuite (shower and bath) - double room and en suite - double room - single room (with pull out bed if needed) - house bathroom (shower and bath) - airing cupboard The second floor comprises: - double bedroom - shower room The property is set up to accommdate 9 people comfortably, but we do have a pull-out bed in the single bedroom, plus a small double sofa bed in the second floor bedroom - please let us know if you would like to use these extra beds. Outside there is plenty of space to park, plus a car charger for electric vehicles. At the rear there is a garden with a grassed area, outdoor sofa and table and a BBQ. An orchard runs alongside the property, with a climbing frame and trampoline. Please let us know if you would like to bring pets; the garden is secure for small dogs, but it's always helpful to chat through to make sure the house is suitable for your animal. Guest access You can use all accessible parts of the property. there are two rooms that will be locked - one in the master bedroom and one on the second floor - where we store our own things. FYI the front door lock is fairly stiff; from outside you need to pull the door towards you and turn the key to the right to open it (from the inside, push the door as you turn the latch to the left). I’ve had the installer come to take a look and he says that’s the design and there’s no fault - we don’t find it to be a problem, but previous guests have struggled so we thought we’d add a note to explain! Other things to note This is our family home - while we ensure that the majority of our possessions are tidied away, some do remain. We are very grateful to guests who treat our home with care! Please note that we do have pets - dogs and cats. The dogs travel with us so will not be around and the house is fully cleaned before your arrival. The cats are very much outdoor rangers; they eat from an automated feeder in the garage and then go travelling. You may spot them from time to time, but they shouldn’t come into the house (unless you want them to - they are both extremely friendly and affectionate!)
