The bedrooms are separated by partitions (no ceilings) which is fun for late night talks/laughs but leaves little privacy otherwise. Water is pumped from the river and is great for showering and brushing teeth, but should not be used for drinking or cooking. What the property lacks in modern amenities it certainly makes up for in charm. The location is top notch, the beds are comfy, the house is clean , the kitchen is stocked and the shower is hot. This home has heat, hot water and firewood available year round. Guest access At night cook dinners at home or visit one of the many restaurants minutes away in Jackson Village or make the 20-25 minutes drive to North Conway. Work on a puzzle, get competitive with a game of monopoly, or enjoy a drink and conversation with loved ones. This property allows you to enjoy the outdoors and your fellow travelers without the distractions of modern technology while also enjoying the quaint community of Jackson. Plenty of parking on-site. This house is off of a main road and while it is hidden from the street you can occasionally hear noise from the street (large trucks or loud exhausts).
