Laurel Retreat is specially designed for families or groups, with a large kitchen and dining room, outdoor armchairs for delight and all kinds of details in this unique rural and relaxing environment. The space The space Laurisilva Home is a guest house located in a rural settlement in the heart of the Anaga Natural Park, probably the most beautiful area on the entire island. Anaga is known for its lush nature, characterized by the native vegetation called "laurisilva" and for being one of the preferred destinations to observe the stars on clear nights. The Laurel Retreat is located on the second floor of Laurisilva Home. It is the most spacious and elegant house of all. There is a spacious living room with large windows that offer a landscape that looks like a postcard, but it's not. They are exactly the views: to the front, the mountains and the sea and, to the right, on clear days, the imposing peak of Teide. A large dining room and an American kitchen with a work area also with stunning views of the green of the laurel forest that surrounds the house will delight the most avid cooks. Two bedrooms, one with its own balcony where you can enjoy pleasant breakfasts with the sunrise, make up the rest of the rooms in the house. Finally, a balcony with double access from the living room, where a corner sofa is located outside, to enjoy the sun or a starry night properly wrapped up. The decoration of Laurel Retreat is inspired by one of the different plant species that make up the laurel forest, typical of the Canary Islands: the laurel. Everything about it, from its dark woods to its reddish tones, reminds us of the tones of laurel wood in the fall. The accommodation is located in the hamlet called Casas de la Cumbre, in the heart of the Anaga Rural Park and very close to tourist attractions such as Pico del Inglés, Cruz del Carmen or the Jardina viewpoint. The city of La Laguna is a 30-minute drive away and the best beaches on the island (Benijo and Almáciga), as well as the picturesque village of Taganana, are another half an hour away by car. We look forward to hosting you at Laurel Retreat, an enclave of elegance and comfort that is unique on the island. Other things to note - The area is especially known for its hiking trails. Multiple routes start from there or very close by. - The preferred mode of access is by car. However, bus 076 (from the La Laguna interchange) can leave you a few meters from the house (just at the point where the main road turns off). - It is recommended not to arrive at night to find the house more easily. Please note that it is a rural area in a Natural Park. - Bring the food you want to use before arriving at the accommodation as there are NO supermarkets nearby. There are restaurants nearby (by car) but their hours are restricted and you won't find food at night. - A crib, high chair and baby bath can be rented upon request and confirmation of availability. - You can park on the street outside the accommodation for free, but you'll be sent directions on how to do it to avoid blocking the road and not prevent other guests from parking as well. - For safety reasons, the use of bioethanol fireplaces has been condemned and it is strictly forbidden to try to use them. Their use is purely decorative.
