Enjoy a spacious double bed, a dining/work area, and your own private ensuite bathroom and private kitchenette. 🏠 The Experience: You will have total autonomy inside your private studio suite. The main apartment is shared with us (your hosts David & Luiz) and our 4 friendly resident cats who roam the common entrance hallways. The space This beautiful studio suite is our premium space at Maison Lazy Cats, designed specifically for travelers who want to immerse themselves in Lisbon’s creative soul while enjoying total autonomy and privacy. 🛏️ Your Private Oasis ("SUITE"): Once you step inside, the entire space is exclusively yours. It features a vibrant tropical-chic design and acts almost like a fully independent small studio. It includes a comfortable double bed with premium fresh linens, a private dining and work table next to the window flooded with natural Lisbon light, a private ensuite bathroom with a modern spacious shower, and a private inside kitchenette equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and a kettle. 🏠 The Maison Setup & Common Areas: To reach your suite, you will pass through our main art-filled entrance hallway, which is shared with us (your hosts, David & Luiz) and our four resident cats. The cats move freely in these main hallways and will love to greet you as you arrive or leave! 🚪 Interaction & Privacy: We live in the apartment and are always available for local recommendations or assistance, but the interaction level is entirely up to you. Once you are inside your suite, you have 100% uninterrupted privacy. 🌿 Note: The atmosphere in the shared areas is informal, welcoming, and genuinely lived-in. Guest access The Suite itself, including your bedroom, private ensuite bathroom, and private kitchenette, is 100% private and can be securely locked. Inside your private Suite, you have full exclusive access to: 🚿 Your Private Ensuite Bathroom: Equipped with a modern shower, toilet, sink, and large mirror for your total comfort and privacy. 🍳 Your Private Kitchenette: Equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and kettle. Perfect for storing groceries, keeping drinks cool, and preparing independent light meals or hot drinks. 🪟 Your Dining & Work Area: A dedicated space located right next to the window, flooded with natural Lisbon light, ideal for enjoying your morning coffee or catching up on remote work. 🏠 Shared Spaces & Dynamics: While your suite offers complete autonomy, it is located inside our spacious shared home. To reach your private oasis, you will pass through our signature hallway, a beautifully curated space filled with unique vintage details, antique mirrors, and classic Portuguese decor that reflects the artistic character of this historical Lisbon home. These entrance hallways are shared with us (your hosts), our four resident cats, and occasionally other quiet travelers staying in separate rooms. During your stay As your local hosts, we are always available throughout your stay whenever you need directions, curated recommendations, or practical assistance. This specific setup works exceptionally well for travelers who value complete independence and privacy, but appreciate the security and convenience of having friendly, local hosts nearby if needed. Whether you prefer to interact and exchange stories or maintain absolute privacy inside your suite, both approaches are perfectly fine with us. Our priority is simply to ensure your stay at Maison Lazy Cats is smooth, comfortable, and easy! Other things to note Please review these important details before booking to ensure our home is the perfect match for your Lisbon stay: 🐱 Our Four Cats: This home is best suited for animal lovers who genuinely enjoy the company of cats. Our 4 friendly felines move freely through the shared entrance hallways and love attention. If you have severe allergies or are uncomfortable with free-roaming animals, this space will not be a good fit. 🏠 Private Suite in a Shared Property: Although the suite is completely private, it is still part of a larger, authentic shared home where we live. The overall atmosphere is warm, social, and distinctly lived-in, closer to a boutique guesthouse than a sterile hotel or independent rental. 🍳 Private Kitchenette (Light Use Only): The private kitchenette inside your suite is designed for light use only. It is equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and kettle (there is no stove or sink inside the room). However, you never have to worry about doing the dishes, you are welcome to bring your used plates and cups to our main kitchen and load them directly into our dishwasher! 🔑 Check-in Coordination: Because this is a private residence, we do not have a 24-hour front desk. All check-ins must be coordinated with us in advance (standard hours are 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM) so we can be home to welcome you personally. 📦 Second Floor (Stairs Only): The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a beautiful, traditional residential building without an elevator. If you have heavy luggage, please let us know in advance—we are always happy to help you carry it up when possible! 📍 The Neighborhood (Anjos): You are staying in one of Lisbon's most authentic, vibrant, and multicultural areas. Trendy cafés, local bakeries, natural wine bars, and authentic restaurants are right at your doorstep.
