Grandpa's Place is a beautiful original Gold Coast home. It was built in the 1880's and has been relocated, renovated and modernised since then. It is clean, tidy, comfortably furnished and ready for your visit. It has indoor and outdoor living areas and under cover, off street parking. It is located in a lovely, quiet and leafy neighbourhood with easy access to the M1, public transport and many amenities within walking distance - including Chirn Park cafes and Gold Coast Aquatic Centre. The space Grandpa's Place has timber floors throughout, lovely high ceilings and is elevated to catch the breeze. There is air conditioning in the main living area and fans in all bedrooms. It is perfect for our beautiful Gold Coast climate. It has three, good sized bedrooms with space to unpack, comfortable mattresses and extra pillows and blankets. Hotel quality linen and bath towels are provided. There are two bathrooms, one with a separate toilet and a hair dryer and GHD straightener for your use. A modern, fully equipped kitchen and ample living areas will make this your home away from home. There is a covered back deck set in a tropical garden with a gas barbecue and seating for 8. The main lounge has comfy couches and a smart TV with Netflix. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the house. The beautiful marble dining table comfortably seats 8. Underneath the house is a spacious garage with setting and a table tennis table. Grandpa's Place is pet friendly but PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU BOOK if you would like to bring your pet. New fences have recently been installed which provide a fully fenced grass area at the front of the house. We are also family friendly so a high chair and porta cot are available on request. Guest access Whole House Other things to note If you would like to bring your pet PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU BOOK. Please clean up after your pets and keep them off furniture and beds. If extra cleaning is required a $150 fee will apply. This is not a party house. If you want to party loud and late please do not book. Noisy or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. If our neighbours are disturbed and call the police you may be evicted. If you have more than 8 people stay you risk eviction and/or extra charges. For your safety a fire blanket, torch and fire extinguisher are in the cupboard above the fridge. If the fire extinguisher is used when there is not a fire a $150 fee will be charged for replacement and cleaning.
