Wolf cottage is nestled in the trees on a private gated homestead, with a feature double log bed, TV, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave, table and 2 stools, bathroom with hot water shower, towels provided, a great sized outside deck area with BBQ. There is a loft area that could sleep 1 small adult accessed by a ladder. Nice mountain views, lots of back country recreation on the doorstep including the river, waterfall and glaciers, Golden is a 20 minute drive away. The space Wolf Cottage has a double bed, side table, TV, small extending table with 2 stools, coffee area with Espresso coffee machine, kettle, microwave and fridge/freezer there is a lofted area that would comfortably sleep 1 small adult as long as they are ok climbing a ladder to access it. Bathroom has hot running water, shower, sink, toilet, towels, washcloths, shampoo and body wash. Outside deck area with table, 2 chairs and barbecue. The water is from a drilled well, is UV filtered and safe to drink, there is a septic system so please don’t flush bulky items or feminine hygiene products. The Cottage is serviced by Starlink high speed WIFI which is good for streaming, cell service however can be spotty as we are in the mountains and not near a cell tower. The property is located in rural BC, please note that the main road may not be plowed on the same day after a snow fall but we do keep the property clear of snow for guests. As Golden and surrounding area is located near to the beautiful Columbia Wetlands and the Cottage is in a wooded area we do experience mosquitos during the summer months especially in the evenings, please be prepared for this. We do provide bug spray and repellent devices. Guest access Guests can use the area surrounding the Cottage but please do not wander around the owners home Other things to note We are officially registered with the BC government for short term rental. There is no smoking of any kind permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is not suitable for children under 10 years of age, no parties. There are friendly cats and dogs residing on the property that you may see occasionally. You are in bear country, lock doors at night, don't leave any food outside. You may see wildlife wandering around mainly deer, bears, coyotes, foxes please be aware In the rare event of a power outage there is a battery operated light in the cottage, and we do have large battery packs if its a longer outage which we will supply for you, you can still use the water, we will inform you of length of outage and assist if needed with any issues.
