Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Large cabin , located at the entrance to Femundsmarka, about 300 meters from Femund. Here you can experience peace and quiet in scenic surroundings. Well suited for nature-loving families , great hiking area either if you want to walk on a gravel road / path or in Femundsmarka's well-known terrain . Drive way all the way with great nature around. Fishing, berry picking and outdoor activities , canoe/kayak paddling. The space Spacious large cabin with nice outdoor area. Deck around and patio with fire pan. grill and boil fire coffee. Trips can be started right from the cabin or take the car up to Dalset go to volsjøen for fishing, or climb Elgåhogna. Can also drive to Valdal mountain to walk in slightly less hilly terrain in the mountains.. The Svukuriset is also within easy reach. Even 2 have daily departures from Elgå and stop in different places along the way. Guest access We have locked off one room and a storage room, otherwise everything is available. Other things to note Convenience store at Elgå .Femund Lodge at Elgå is open in the season with good food and nice service. Soccer field at Elgå .Fin hiking trail from Tjønnodden along femund towards Elgå,(remember to cross the bridge before the path leads down towards Femund)A lot of hare(evening and morning)and reindeer in the area.Elg is more to see in the winter months. Must be one bear inside the cabin south in the woods one piece. Nice area from the boat harbor and south towards Tjønnodden along the sea. More reindeer between Drevsjø and Elgå along the road. Bikes can be rented at the National Park Center Elgå.
