Our Earthwise Casita is a thoughtfully designed and sustainable space for relaxing and recharging after you explore the city. Large windows provide tranquil views of our gardens, filling the space with light and the sounds of nature. Our neighborhood boasts some of Austin's most diverse restaurants, food trucks, and grocery stores. We hope you enjoy our little oasis! The space We live in a late mid-century suburban neighborhood with wide tree lined streets. Parking is on the street and is free. You’ll enter the property via a locked gate next to our home, there is a lighted path to the casita. The whole back yard is fenced in and shared with our home. We love our big backyard and are happy to share our garden, flowers, and chickens while you stay. The creek nearby acts as a wildlife highway so there is always something to see while you sit outside. The casita has big windows with lots of natural light, just open the curtains to enjoy nature from inside the coziness of the casita. Feel free to wander the garden, hang out by the chickens, and watch the wildlife that comes to visit. We have herons, squirrels, butterflies, bees, migratory birds, and more! Other things to note If you are traveling with a baby, toddler, or child let us know and we can provide toys, baby gear, cots, or a pack and play. We traveled a lot as a young family so we’ve got plenty of gear to share during your stay to make it more comfortable. For longer-term stays, please note that there is NO cooking allowed, nor is there a kitchen in the unit. Please see the photos of the kitchenette and that includes a microwave, refrigerator, and freezer combo, a tea kettle, and a Keurig coffee machine. We have had several travel nurses stay it's been perfect for their needs.
