Guest access The downstairs suite is accessible trough a security gate using a smart lock. NOTE: the owner lives upstairs. There is a staircase that connects the upper and lower (your) space) levels of the home. When guests are in the lower level the owner stays upstairs, we ask that guests do not go upstairs, unless invited. The host does occasionally have gatherings up there and welcomes guests to join. We’ll even provide a fine selection of gourmet teas and coffee. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE HEATING SYSTEM: this lower level does not have it's own thermostat. The thermostat is upstairs. It's main source of heat is a single vent in the middle of the unit. The temperature may fluctuate and the bedrooms may cool off at night especially if the doors are closed. There are no heat vents in the bedrooms. Your host lives upstairs and is open to guest interaction.
