The space Situated on a large remote property, the home is very quiet and calming. The house has a beautiful view out to Back Bay. This property is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The large private outdoor patios will allow you to enjoy the beautiful views of Back Bay while enjoying a BBQ or fire. With tall vaulted ceiling throughout the living spaces, the home feels grand and impressive while the wood clad walls provide a warm and cozy atmosphere. Guest access The entire home and outdoor patios are available to guests. The house is situated in a rural nature area with trails and hiking available from the property. Other things to note We provide access to the private outdoor fire pit and the indoor wood stove. Although their may be wood available at the cottage, if these amenities are of great important to you we recommend bringing fire starters (paper or other), kindling (a hatchet is available), and dry firewood. The charcoal grill is available as well as BBQ utensils. Please note we do not provide charcoal so please ensure you bring your own if you intend to BBQ. When starting a fire in the interior wood stove please follow the following recommendations: open a window for a few minutes to equalize the cottage pressure prior to starting the fire, do not start a fire if there are high winds outside because smoke will not properly exit the flue, the initial fire should be quite hot to warm the flue and initiate the updraft of the smoke, very wet wood will create a lot of smoke and should not be used.
