It’s time to start living! The space Escape into stunning rural luxury for a few days in our boutique shepherd’s hut with outdoor hot tub. The fox’s den is perfectly formed at 20ft by 8ft and packed with everything you need to enjoy a perfect retreat in style. The hut contains a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave/oven and a ceramic induction hob – the perfect spot to cook up some of the delicious local produce on offer from Northumberland. You’ll have everything you need on hand, with crockery, glassware and plasticware for use outside to enjoy stunning al fresco dining or a tasty meal indoors by the warmth of the wood-burning stove as twilight falls across the landscape. The hut contains a comfy king size bed with fluffy duvet and soft, deep pillows with black out blinds to ensure a good night’s sleep for the discerning traveller. The hut also has a well-appointed bathroom boasting a full-size shower, along with a sink with vanity cupboard and toilet. Our hut is connected to a septic tank, meaning only natural waste and toilet paper can be flushed, but we provide bins for sanitary ware and other non-biodegradable waste. Step outside onto your own private decked area, complete with a hot tub for two, a dining table and chairs and relaxed seating when you can simply sit back and relax and enjoy the amazing views and wildlife on the doorstep. Your hot tub will be ready for your arrival, so all you need to do is drop your bags, grab the luxury fluffy robe and bring a chilled bottle of fizz to while away some time on a golden summer evening, or as the snow falls across the landscape. There’s also a Solo Stove fire pit to keep you warm on a cold night, and a BBQ for some alfresco dining. Dip in and out of the tub while you griddle beautiful fresh food in the heart of the Northumberland countryside. Guest access The hut is within the grounds of our family homes, so we ask you to stay within the locality of the lodge Other things to note We have lots of wildlife so please be mindful of this. You may wake up to a beautiful pheasant running through the hedgerows and see other wildlife during your stay. The wildlife is often very shy so won’t pose a danger to you. Please do not litter, there are plenty of bins provided to ensure we keep the areas clean and tidy.
