Centrally located, downtown, 800 sq. ft. heated solarium suite - bedroom, living room, small bathroom and kitchenette (toaster oven, microwave, electric frypan, mini fridge - not a full kitchen) and sleeper couch, attached to the back of my home. Private entrance out back, winter access thru the garage. Laundry facilities in the garage. Driveway parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome - see rules. Fenced backyard with fire pit. Solarium is full of plants. Beautiful front water view plus gardens. Guest access The entire suite which is attached to the back of my home. Please note that although I try to be very quiet, the separation between the solarium and my home is primarily glass, so noise may be heard from either side. Other things to note There are additional instructions for you on the table after you enter the solarium. It includes information about linens, etc. Please take time to read, so my request (house rules) are followed. Please note, it being a solarium full of plants, there may be an occasional bug. I mention again, it is a small bathroom - I got the largest shower stall I could to fit in the limited space. There is basic cable T.V. , many DVD movies and ROKU available for your streaming. Please note, we are in a snow and ice area. If you hope to go to Mackinac Island between Dec and April it may be iffy (the ferry may not be running). You can go by plane but it is expensive. Or there may be an 'ice bridge' you can walk, cross country ski, fat tire bike or snowmobile. During the peak season (May thru October) I have a 2 night minimum. Feel free to contact me if you only want one night (if it is open). I will probably let you come - in the calendar they will be noted as "minimum nights", saying not available, however I can open it up for you. Also - this is a non-smoking home and grounds, please respect my property by not smoking or leaving butts. Due to past barkers, dogs are not to be left unattended in the solarium.
