Byrd House Hideway, country setting w/ great views

The Byrd House Hideaway is truly a unique property that offers a country setting but is only 6 miles from downtown Amarillo. It sits on 2 acres of rolling hills that illuminate the outstanding west Texas sunrises and sunsets. If you are looking for a little piece of country not far from the city come and stay at The Byrd House Hideaway! The space Entire separate structure with private entrance and carport. There is a small yard (which is still a work in progress) and a covered patio. My husband and I plus two spoiled dogs live in the main house which is connected by a breezeway. Guest access Our property sits on 2 acres where we have preserved the native Texas landscaping. Property owner will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries. Other things to note Please note: We are outside the city limits so we have our own well water and run on a septic system. The guest suite has a high efficiency hot water heater that hold 20 gallons of water. Guests will have to allow time after the first shower for the hot water heater to refill. The suite is equipped with a window unit that provides A/C and Heat as well as a gas wall heater.
