Description

Enjoy time with family or friends in this new, bright rental with rustic decor on scenic Sasquatch Mountain! Perfect for large groups of family or friends to take in skiing, the tube park, walking trails, snowshoe trails, the aerial park or just kickback and enjoy the serenity of this mountain. The upper two levels of this house offers ample room (2500 sq ft) to host a sizeable gathering while the games room offers something for kids of all ages. No guest access to garage or basement. The space Upon entering The Three Bears , you’ll find a large boot room with plenty of bench seating and more than enough hooks for all your outerwear. The long, live edge bar runs the length of the hall past the main floor bathroom, main floor bedroom and into the bright, spacious kitchen, dining and family room. The fully stocked kitchen has all items needed to cook and serve your meals. The dining table seats 9 with overflow seating at island for 4 and 4 more at the bar. After your meal, you can relax in front of the gas fireplace and 65” TV or soak your bones in the hot tub. For those who want to partake in some activity, they can head upstairs to challenge someone to fooseball or basketball. The games room also has a 55” TV, miscellaneous board games, Lego bin and some books. The double vanity bathroom w/shower, the 6 twin bunk room, the other 2 bedrooms w/ queens and the master bedroom with ensuite are also upstairs. All beds have waterproof/bedbug mattress protectors and pillow protectors. There is NO guest access to the basement or garage as owners may or may not be onsite at time of booking and require access to it. This rental is a 3-4 minute drive from the Sasquatch Mountain Lodge and Molly Hogan’s Bar and Grill. In the event of a substantial snowfall, the snow removal company will require access to the parking area to plow snow. All vehicles will need to be temporarily removed for approximately a 5-10 minute period while loader is clearing the snow. If any vehicles are left in the parking area and depending how much snowfall there is, you may have to manually clear the area to move your vehicle. Shovels are provided. Snow removal typically takes place between 11am- 2pm. If your party is skiing, a suggestion would be to take all vehicles to the village or perhaps venture to Molly Hogan’s Bar and Grill for lunch. You can also see and hear the loader coming into the neighbourhood so you remove vehicle then. Guest access The private guest entrance is located at the REAR of the home. All guest parking is located at the side of the house near private entrance (room for 6-7 vehicles). There is NO guest parking in front of the garage doors as the owners may or may not be onsite at time of your booking and will require access to that area. Other things to note This rental space is a 3-4 minute drive from the Sasquatch Mountain resort. Check the website for the Sasquatch Mountain Lodge and Molly Hogan’s Bar and Grill for the most current hours of operation as they can change depending on the time of year. Hemlock Hollow has a small store that carries a very limited number of items so ensure you bring all food and beverages with you. It is “pack in, pack out” so all garbage and recycling must be taken with you. The Hemlock Valley Transfer Station is less than a one minute drive from the rental. The transfer station charges renters $6 per garbage bag (cash only) but recycling and compost are free. The Ministry of Transport requires vehicles to carry chains or a traction device through the winter months. The road conditions are a little “rugged” but most vehicles have no difficulty with the drive. The first 10 minutes of the drive is pavement and the last 15 minutes is gravel with several sharp turns. If it your first time up, it is recommended (for your own safety), that you take your time and pull over to the side and let the more aggressive drivers pass you.
