More inspiration on IG: @the_forest_village The space The space The Forest Village is a carefully curated 30 m² cabin designed with one purpose: to give you two the best possible version of doing nothing together. The main floor flows from a cozy living area with dining table into a small but fully equipped kitchenette — everything you need, nothing you don’t. Upstairs in the sleeping loft, a wide 180 cm double bed sits under a low ceiling that makes the whole space feel like a nest. There’s a TV and a PlayStation up there too, for rainy afternoons. Outside is where the magic happens. The hot tub sits under a transparent roof — open to the sky, sheltered from the rain — with seating to linger long after the sun goes down. Next to it, a proper Argentine charcoal BBQ under its own covered area. This isn’t a standard grill: it’s a parrilla, designed for slow cooking and long evenings. A second sheltered outdoor space with two armchairs completes the picture. The bathroom has a washing machine with integrated dryer — practical detail, genuinely useful for longer stays. A note on noise: the property sits 1 minute from the E6 motorway. The main building has triple glazing and thick stone walls, so inside it’s very quiet. Outside, you may hear distant traffic. We want you to know this upfront — guests who come expecting forest silence are sometimes surprised, and we’d rather you arrive fully informed and leave genuinely happy. Guest access Your outdoor space The covered hot tub is heated and ready for you. We maintain it carefully between every stay — filters, chemistry, temperature. We ask that you keep food, glasses, and body lotions out of the water; it keeps the experience better for everyone. The Argentine BBQ is loaded with personality. If you’ve never cooked on a parrilla, we’re happy to share some tips. A mechanical roadblock at the entrance can be locked by you during your stay. Two exterior security cameras cover the street entrance and the back of the buildings — not the areas where guests spend time. You can request them deactivated; we follow GDPR strictly. Other things to note The area Löddeköpinge puts you in a privileged spot in western Skåne — close to everything, but on a quiet dead-end street with a single neighbor who is rarely there. The lake is a short walk away: beautiful sandy beaches, forest trails, and mountain bike routes. The coast at Barsebäcks hamn is 15 minutes by car — or reachable by bike on a good day. Malmö, Lund, Landskrona and Helsingborg are all within 20 minutes. For everyday needs, Center Syd (one of Sweden’s largest shopping centers) is 10 minutes away. And just ahead: Malmö Designer Village opens in 2027, 5 minutes from the property. EV charging on site. Ample, secure parking.
