Glamping Bell Tent over a Bamboo Machaan

A gorgeous Bell Tent, set up over a Bamboo Machaan with a straw thatched roof, and overlooking a beautiful off-grid eco-farm with horses, ducks, hens, cows, guinea pigs, rabbits ... The setting is perfect to experience camping in nature, but with all comforts and still right within the city (Noida). The Tent has a double bed for 2 adults and a single bed. Right behind the bed, on top of the machaan itself, is your own private dressing area and bathroom. An unforgettable Glamping experience! The space The Machaan, as we lovingly call it, is like a large bamboo treehouse with a bamboo staircase taking you up to the private living quarters. And this is where the magic begins. There's a cosy Bell Tent for sleeping or lounging, outdoor private sit-out spaces including a bamboo picnic table, a log clothes rack, a bamboo wash basin, mirror and several other hand-crafted details. The bathroom will give you the fun experience of an outdoor shower while still being completely private. When you come down from the Machaan, there's a large covered shared sitting cum dining area, overlooking the entire Farm. The Machaan is your perfect getaway from the city for solo travellers, couples, friends. And if you are a larger group, we also have the modern Container home stay next to the Machaan Bell Tent stay itself. The Bell Tent stay is inside the Tuk-Tuk Gilhari animal sanctuary that serves as a favourite destination for families and children to pet, interact with and feed all the resident animals as well as learn about sustainability. The Farm is Permaculture-designed, zero-waste and also hosts school tours, birthday parties and private celebrations so if you'd like to organise one for your group along with the stays, let us know. We generally have day visitors/other events over the weekends, so there could be other visitors at the farm during your stay, which adds on to the fun for a few hours. We are a 100% off-grid sustainable eco-farm running on solar power so please be very mindful about turning off all electrical appliances and using them sparingly especially after the sun sets. Feel free to ask the caretaker for badminton racquets, football or frisbee for playing outdoor games together or Board Games for indoors. Or sit in the multiple outdoor sitting and lounging areas as well as the library area. We also have hot water bags available for a warm cosy night's sleep during the winter months. The caretaker can provide tea, coffee, hot chocolate, maggi, pakoda on order on ala carte basis. For meals, there are multiple options: - A menu is available for ordering meals from a nearby canteen within the gated community. - You can also order food directly yourself from Swiggy/Zomato. - Or you can pre-book the Chulhe ka Khana at the farm itself. Please note that only vegetarian food is allowed at the Farm. Non-veg is strictly not allowed, neither cooking nor ordering and eating. Guest access Booking the Machaan Bell Tent stay will give you automatic access to the entire Tuk-Tuk Gilhari Farm with all common indoor and outdoor sitting areas, gardens, playground and swings. Guests must not visit the animal barns on their own. Other things to note Below experiences are available with prior notice of atleast a day and subject to availability: 1. Feeding Tour of all the animals at Farm including horses, donkeys, cows, goat, sheep, ducks, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, hens @ Rs.200 per person. Note: You MUST NOT go to the animal barns or pet them if not accompanied and supervised by our Farm Supervisor. 2. Bonfire between 7pm to 9.30pm @ Rs.500. 3. Chulhe ka Khana at the farm @ Rs.500 per person for lunch (12 noon to 2pm). Thali includes roti, rice, dal, seasonal vegetable, silbatte ki chutney. This will be for minimum 2 people or the entire group staying. 4. Going on a refreshing walk around the farming fields with the animals - horse or donkey or goats or dogs @ Rs.400. The walk can be organised between 7.30am to 9am in morning or between 3.30pm to 5pm in evening. 5. Experience milking a cow for your evening tea/coffee/hot chocolate (included) @ Rs.800.
