The space This traditional Finnish-style accommodation consists of two buildings: a main cabin and a charming adjacent guest hut. Originally built in 1886 as a shelter for lumber workers in the Nordic wilderness, the cabin was relocated to Luosto in the early 1970s. Both cabins have been fully renovated in 2010. Main Cabin: The main cabin features: - three bedrooms - living room with sleeping couch and an open-plan kitchen - toilet and shower - relaxing sauna - 100mbit/s free wifi/ethernet Guest Hut: This beautiful, rustic hut offers: - heating and electricity (no running water or WC, but the main cabin is just 6 meters away) - two single beds, a sleeping couch, a table with chairs for four, and two cozy armchairs by the fireplace The guest hut increases the sleeping capacity of our Savottakämppä. It cannot be rented as a standalone cabin and is available only as an addition to the Savottakämppä. Ideal for teenagers or couples seeking a unique and private retreat, the guest hut also offers a wonderful option for hosting grandparents—allowing you to enjoy calm, uninterrupted evenings while family is close by. With comfortable armchairs gathered around the fireplace, it’s a cozy haven for quiet moments and relaxed evenings. Make yourselves comfortable and enjoy your stay. Other things to note A cleaning fee of 120€ applies to every booking. The guest hut is available for an additional fee of €200 per week (or per stay, if you are staying for less than a week). Please note that the main building accommodates a maximum of 6 people.
