The location provides easy access to I-90, CWU and Ellensburg in 10 minutes or less. Visit The Gorge (40 minutes), golf course (2 minutes), or Leavenworth (60 minutes). Come explore, play or regroup in the center of Washington. The space Built in 1963, this country home features numerous windows and sliding glass doors to let in lots of natural light. The three main floor bedrooms are at one end of the house. The primary bedroom is spacious. The en-suite bathroom is not. While probably a luxury in the 60s, it is definitely small compared to today's en-suites. The other two bedrooms share a hall bathroom. Each main floor bedroom has a smart tv, luggage rack and cedar-lined closet. The den has a dedicated workspace. Find children's books on the shelves. Comfy sofas in the living room create a special place to relax. Memories can be made in the dining room which seats six. The 80s kitchen has a variety of kitchenware in order to dine in. The kitchen table seats four. Windows in the kitchen face south toward beautiful views of Manastash Ridge and the field below. The laundry room has a washer, dryer, toilet and sink. Downstairs the game room was created for fun. Play Pacman, NBA Jam, Galaga, Wii, air hockey and X Box One. There are board and card games too. DVDs and a player are available. Next to the game room is the fourth bedroom. It features twin beds with Seahawks bedding and two built-in bunk beds. There is a fire escape in the downstairs bedroom to climb out. Only able bodied people should sleep in that bedroom. A convenient small bathroom is next to the game room. The heated/airconditioned double garage has been converted into a carpeted area with a small basketball game, pool table, skee-ball, foosball and yoga mats. The back patio features a table, chairs and a Traeger grill. There is a 4 hole putting green. The large frontyard and backyard offer places for children to run and play. The home is very close to the Ellensburg Golf and Country Club. In the winter there is sledding and cross country skiiing there. Guest access Guests have use of the entire house, patio frontyard and backyard. There is ample parking in front of the garage doors. Other things to note Ellensburg is a beautiful place with four seasons. Some days during the spring, the winds can be strong. There is a reason the trees lean toward the east. The summers can be very hot, so the air conditioning will bring welcome relief. Early fall is often described as having the best weather of the year. With winter comes snow and ice. Kevin, the co-host, is in charge of snow removal. The fireplaces in the living room and downstairs are currently not operational.
