The space **Welcome to Our Lakeside Retreat** Welcome to our lakeside retreat nestled on the serene shores of Wenona Lake, just a 15-minute drive from the picturesque village of Haliburton. This enchanting cottage offers the perfect blend of modern comfort and natural beauty. --- **Accessibility and Parking** - The property is accessible by road and offers 4+ parking spots. - Please note, access to the cottage involves a descent of 60 steps. The driveway is steep; guests are encouraged to use an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicle year-round for easier access. From November to April, AWD and winter tires are mandatory for safe navigation. - Additional parking is available at the top of the stairs landing for added convenience. - Initial parking is next to the blue house numbered sign. A 110v outlet (only) is available. --- **Interior** Step inside to discover a spacious open-concept design with breathtaking lake views through impressive 24-foot cathedral ceilings. The main floor features a custom kitchen, perfect for culinary adventures, and convenient main floor laundry facilities. With four cozy bedrooms and two bathrooms, there's ample space for families or groups seeking relaxation. **Bedroom Breakdown:** - Downstairs: - First room with a king bed. - Upstairs: - Second room with 1 queen bed. - Third room with 2 double beds. - Fourth room with 2 single beds. **Additional Amenities for Families:** For families with young children, we provide the following amenities for your convenience: Pack n' Play crib Highchair Toddler potty seat Plastic bowls and sippy cups --- **Outside** Enjoy 112 feet of shoreline with easy shallow entry, perfect for swimming and water activities. Watch stunning sunsets from the west-facing vantage point, or unwind on the dock and raft designed for leisurely lake enjoyment. For fishing enthusiasts, Wenona Lake is renowned for its excellent fishing opportunities, ensuring memorable experiences on the water. A convenient public boat launch nearby makes it easy to explore the lake at your leisure. There are two kayaks available, each equipped with safety kits. Guests are also welcome to use 3 spring recliners and 4 body boards (boogie boards). Please note that guests are responsible for bringing their own properly fitting life jackets to enjoy all water activities. --- Whether you seek tranquility by the water's edge or outdoor adventures in the Haliburton Highlands, our cottage provides an idyllic escape for your next vacation getaway. Groceries, Water & Firewood Delivery: a) $45 + HST plus cost of items (list provided at booking) b) $95 + HST plus cost of items (list provided after booking) 2. Garbage Disposal: $70 Note: - Garbage and recycling must be separated. - Recycling must be sorted (paper and containers). - Maximum of 2 garbage bags. --- **Pet Policy:** We accept small dogs for a flat fee of $150 per stay. Please be aware that the property is not fenced, so please ensure your dog is supervised. We kindly ask that you clean up after your pet and properly dispose of waste on the grounds. Thank you! ---
