Welcome to The Tavern on the Trail, a beautifully restored 1800's home located in the heart of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, centrally located along the Bourbon Trail. This home was once a tavern for the area in the 1800's. The tavern is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities, ideal for bourbon lovers, horse enthusiasts, and those looking to experience a true slice of Kentucky history. Spacious, Comfortable Bedrooms w/ KING beds upstairs – The home comfortably sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms, each decorated with a nod to Kentucky's bourbon and horse racing culture. Luxury & Comfort – Memory foam mattresses, high ceilings, poplar wood beams, and a mix of antique and modern furnishings provide the perfect ambiance for relaxation. The charming poplar wood ceiling adds to the room’s character. Upstairs Bedrooms – Two beautifully decorated king rooms with vaulted ceilings and exposed 200-year-old beams. One boasts a luxurious en suite bathroom with a freestanding tub, a separate shower, and double vanity. 🍳 The Kitchen & Dining 🍳 Fully Stocked Kitchen – Cook, create cocktails, and enjoy meals in a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Guests can sit down to a meal in the dining room, with seating for 8. Complimentary Coffee & Treats – Ground coffee, whole beans with a grinder, K-cups, and tea are provided. 🛁 Bathrooms & Laundry 🛁 Full Bath on Main Floor – Includes a deep soaking tub with shower combo, along with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bar soap for your stay. Upstairs En Suite – The primary upstairs bedroom features a luxurious bathroom with a freestanding tub, separate 5' shower, and double vanity. 🛋️ Living Room & Entertainment 🛋️ Enjoy the comfortable living room with camel leather recliners and plenty of seating for all! White noise machines are provided in each bedroom for your comfort. This is a semi-rural area, so you may encounter critters, insects / local wildlife. Don’t be alarmed—regular pest control treatments are in place. ⚠️ Additional Notes ⚠️ There is a wood burning fire pit. Firewood is not provided, however there is a Tractor Supply (9 minutes) & Walmart (7 minutes) located close by to the property. Stair Rails – The original 200-year-old stair rails are lower than today’s standards, so please use caution when navigating the stairs. Fireplace in Living Room - this fireplace is an aesthetic piece of the house that is not operable. Fire Table Instructions – To use the fire table you must turn the propane tank on at your own risk, then take the long lighter stick provided and press ignite/prime as you light the mid area where the stones are. Once finished, turn off the table AND turn off the propane tank. We use a keyless entry system, so you can come any time after check-in and enter using your unique access code. Other things to note House Rules: -Check in 4 pm -Check out 10 am -Quiet Hours are 10PM - 8AM. Please be respectful of our quiet hours. Parties are not allowed at the property, including loud music. -Smoking, drugs, & vape use is NOT allowed inside or outside the property. -Please adhere to the hot tub rules posted and use at their own risk. Adult supervision is required when using the pool/hot tub. -There are 2 exterior security cameras: 1 at the front door & 1 at the side door. -No extra / overnight guests. -No Mail Delivered while you are staying at the property. -No Unplugging of the electronics -Host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness, or deaths that occur while on the premise of the property or its amenities.
