This log cabin is a comfortable 2-bedroom with beautiful views providing the perfect getaway for up to six people. Nestled amongst idyllic Colorado mountains approximately 10,000-ft above sea level, it is the perfect launchpad for your Rocky Mountain adventure. The space Once you walk into this home you will see incredible views of the Rocky Mountains, the interior of this home has been recently updated with fresh paint and furnishings. You'll have everything you need to relax by the wood stove. The full kitchen will allow you to make any meal, and the soft beds will make sure you get a good night's rest and prepare for tomorrow's adventure. There is a washer and dryer and free WiFi. If you enjoy to fish, there are several places to go and fish for cutthroat trout as well as bass and other local fish. The closest are the Little Echo Lake, Loch Lomond Lake, Slater Lake, St. Mary’s Glacier Lake. Please have a state fishing license and your own equipment with you. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house. Living area There is a spacious open area that includes a fully equipped kitchen, a living room equipped with a smart TV and wood burning stove and the dining area that comfortably seats 6. Bedrooms There are two bedrooms in the house. In the main bedroom there is a queen size bed and the second bedroom there is a set of queen size bunk beds. Outdoor space There is a spacious deck where you can sit and enjoy calming, beautiful views. There is also an easily accessible dog run that is accessed from the deck. This is a great place for your dogs to be safely off leash so they can get their exercise. There is a Razor 4x4 available to rent via a third party. Other things to note Although this home is located on a county-maintained road, Fall River Road is very steep. From June through August, a front-wheel drive car is enough; however, from November 1st to April 30th it is REQUIRED to be traveling in a vehicle that provides either AWD or 4 wheel drive capabilities.
