We have a cosy outdoor setup (including crates if needed) to keep them comfortable. Guest access Welcome to your home away from home! To make your arrival smooth and hassle-free, we use a digital lock system for entry. Here’s a quick guide on how to use it: Find the Keypad: You’ll see the digital lock mounted on the front door. It’s easy to spot! Enter Your Code: We'll provid you with a unique access code on the day of your arrival. Simply type it into the keypad. Make sure to press each number firmly. The door will click open. Other things to note House Rules We’re excited to host you at our country retreat! To ensure a great stay for everyone, please review the following rules prior to staying with us: 1. Smoking Policy: o No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is not permitted inside the home. If smoking outside, please dispose of cigarette butts properly. As we are near a state forest, this area can be fire-prone, so please be mindful. 2. Food and Cleanliness: o Food and Dishes: To prevent pests, please do not leave food out. Ensure all dishes are placed in the dishwasher after use. 3. Parking: o Parking Areas: Park in the carport or on the gravelled road. Please avoid parking on the grass to protect the property. 4. Games Room: o Games and Entertainment: Enjoy our games room with darts, foosball, ping pong, mini basketball, and croquet. Kindly return all game accessories to their proper places at the end of your stay. 5. Property Items: o No Removal of Items: Please do not remove any items from the property. This includes all contents of the home and outdoor areas. Extra fees will apply if any items are missing. 6. Barbecue: o Use of the Barbecue: We have a great barbecue you are welcome to use. Please clean up after use and ensure the grill is left clean. Remember to turn off the gas after use. 7. Fire Pit: o Fire Pit Restrictions: Due to fire restrictions, the fire pit cannot be used unless it is winter. Visit us during winter to enjoy this fabulous feature! 8. Water Conservation: o Tank Water Usage: We rely on tank water, so please keep showers short to conserve water. 9. Furniture and Décor: o No Rearranging: Please do not rearrange furniture or remove pictures from the walls. 10. Animals and Paddocks: o Cows and Paddocks: Enjoy watching our gorgeous cows from a distance. For your safety, do not enter the paddocks or feed them over the fences. If walking through the other paddocks, ensure gates are closed behind you. 11. Events: o Hosting Events: If you wish to host an event (e.g., a wedding), please contact us in advance and we will see if we can work with you to make it happen. 12. Parties: o No Unauthorised Parties: If a party is held without our permission, you will be asked to vacate the property immediately. 13. Illegal Drugs: o Drug Policy: Use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Authorities will be contacted if suspected, and you will be asked to leave the property. 14. Maintenance and Damages: o Report Issues: Let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so we can address it. Any damages will need to be covered before departure. 15. Fire Prevention: o Electrical Appliances: For safety, do not leave electrical appliances (e.g., air conditioners, fans, hair straighteners, chargers) switched on when not in use or when leaving the property. 16. Respect for Property: o Property Care: As this is both an Airbnb and our home, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
