Nearby, you'll find ski slopes, Folkeparken, and the popular Telegrafbukta, perfect spots for outings all year round! Located 1–2 minutes from the bus stop, where the bus takes you to the town center, the airport, Prestvannet, Kvaløya with fantastic hiking and skiing opportunities, and to Giæverbukta for shopping. The space The apartment (about 40 m2) is located on the 1st floor of our detached house, in a quiet and child-friendly area just outside Tromsø city center. It only takes about 10 minutes by taxi from Tromsø airport or about 35 minutes by bus. The apartment is perfect for couples, small families or travelers who want to experience Tromsø in a real way. Here you get a peaceful and comfortable base, while having a short distance to the city center, shops, and nice hiking areas. There is free rental of sleds, sled mats, ice brooms, etc. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to Telegrafbukta (beach and sea), which is also a nice area to be able to see the Northern Lights when it is season, as there is little light pollution there. The kitchen is well equipped with what you need for both short and longer stays, which gives you great opportunities to cook your own meals. The living room has both its own dining area and work area, in addition to a large sofa that allows you to relax after a day of experiences. Bedroom with double bed (150cmx200). Bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. There is a code lock on the door, and thus easy key exchange. Possibility of luggage drop off. Kitchen table has the possibility to expand (2 flaps), there are a total of 4-5 chairs in the apartment. The sofa is a good size and there is also extra pouf, so there is the possibility to stay 4+/- people in the apartment. What is worth noting is that the bathroom is a bit small but the bathroom has a storage/foreroom so it works fine. The apartment has a hallway of good size, with plenty of space to hang outerwear and shoes, where there is also some storage space for any suitcase or pram. In addition, there is an aisle with walk in closet. Here there are extra pillows, duvets, etc. In the hallway there are also some baskets with some miscellaneous equipment such as seat pads, umbrella, slippers, ice picks in various sizes, reflective clothing, flashlight, blankets, etc. if there is a need to borrow. In winter there are also sledges available. The kitchen is stocked with the most important basic items, including a selection of various spices, oils, sugar, sweeteners, coffee, tea, etc. There is also a kettle, a coffee maker, and a French press. The kitchen has most of the service and equipment you need for both short and longer stays. In the living room there are also a number of games, card decks, yatsy, scrabble and books. In addition to some children’s toys, puzzles, drawing materials, LEGO, etc., there is also a desk and a workstation (tax office). The TV is a smart TV - with the possibility to listen to the radio, connect to various apps, etc. In addition, there is a DAB radio in the apartment. There is a bench and table in the garden (but difficult to get to in the winter when there is snow.) But there are also benches outside the apartment under roof. If you have a car then there is parking at the property. Just let me know in advance. If you are traveling with baby or small children, there is access to a baby travel bed and high chair, sledding, some indoor/outdoor toys. The entrance is covered, and has the possibility to place a stroller dry, in addition, it is possible to have a stroller in the exterior.
