The space About the Apartment: Centrally located on Tromsø Island - Cozy apartment with an entrance area, kitchen, living room, bathroom, and one bedroom. 64 sqm. Parking available. Private entrance on the ground floor. Location: 10 minutes walk to the University of Tromsø (750 m) and to the hospital (1.2 km), 35 minutes walk to the center of Tromsø (2.9 km), and 5 minutes to the Botanical Garden (450 m). The indoor swimming pool 'Tromsøbadet' and the cross-country ski track are within a 10-15 minute walk (650 m). The nearest grocery stores are 550 meters and 600 meters away. The nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away (240 m) with direct connections to the airport and city center. The Apartment: The apartment is located on the ground floor with a private entrance in a 3-story villa. Our family lives on the upper floors, and we have our own entrance on the other side of the house. The apartment features an entrance area with ample space for outerwear and shoes. From the entrance area, you have the living room and kitchen to the left, the bedroom to the right, and the bathroom in between. To the left, you enter a spacious living room with a dining area, a generous workspace, and a cozy sofa corner. There is a small, but well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom is newly renovated, tiled with underfloor heating, toilet, washing machine, sink, and shower cabin. The bedroom houses a large closet and a king-size bed suitable for 2 people (180 x 200 cm). Note: If there are 3 or 4 people, the additional 1-2 people sleep on the sleeping sofa in the living room (140 x 200 cm). Arrival: If you arrive at the airport, you can take bus line 24 to the center, which stops near the apartment (25-minute ride). You can either get off at 'Templarheimen' or at 'Gjennomgangsbygget'. Templarheimen is a bit shorter but requires you to go down a steep path. If there is a lot of ice, which is common in Tromsø during winter, we recommend getting off at Gjennomgangsbygget, where you can follow a wider footpath to the apartment. The taxi ride from the airport to our home takes about 6-8 minutes. We have parking available for guests. Please let us know if you plan to arrive by car so we can assist you with snow removal. Other Things to Note: The apartment is listed with 4 sleeping places. It is important to note that there is a king-size bed for 2 people in the bedroom, which provides enough space for 2 people and a small child, and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room for up to two additional people. We provide duvet covers and pillowcases.
