This 2 bedroom, 1 bath house is full of PNW charm. Family and pet friendly, enjoy the benefits of the suburbs all while being able to get to downtown Seattle in 15 minutes. 2 blocks (eyesight) from South Shoreline light rail station- quickly get to the airport, stadiums, downtown, the UW, and more! The space Keyless self check in for an easy and fast check in at the time that works best for you. Enter into a large living/dining room, with a sectional couch, TV with streaming options, and 6 person dining table. Off the living space is a full kitchen which includes a counter seating with bar stools, oven and cooktop, microwave, large refrigerator, coffee maker, and kitchen essentials. Plus a large dog bed for your furry friends! 1 bathroom with shower/bathtub and blue glass basin sink. Master bedroom has a king size bed and 40" flat screen TV. Bed is memory foam- Brooklinen brand. Second bedroom has a queen size bed. (very soft memory foam hybrid mattress) Living room has a full size pull out couch with memory foam mattress topper + extra comforter. In the living room you'll also find an assortment of board games like Monopoly, Sorry, & Cards Against Humanity. Downstairs there’s a laundry area with washer/dryer which guests are welcome to use. In the laundry area there is a locked door leading to a separate unit (more details on this in guest access). Small partially fenced front yard and covered porch with 2 chairs and small table. (Please note that the front yard is not fully fenced, there are openings for the driveway) Off street parking for up to 3-4 cars. There is plenty of room for an RV, u haul, utility line worker truck, etc to park safely off street in the driveway. Booking Over the Summer? (May-September) We currently have 2 portable AC units for this home- 1 in the living room and 1 in the master bedroom. They will keep these rooms nice and cool over the summer months. There are fans in the second bedroom and kitchen. Many homes and apartments in Seattle (with the exception of new construction) do not have central AC. This is an excellent location for those with OR without a vehicle who want to explore the Seattle area! 15 minutes to our North is the adorable town of Edmonds, WA. Every Saturday they have the "Edmonds market" with local craft vendors. They also have lots of boutique shops and delicious restaurants in the dog friendly town of Edmonds. Perfect location for those who want to benefits of the suburbs (peace and quiet, off street parking that you don't need to battle for, nearby family friendly parks) with ease of access to the city and I-5. Plus, you can't beat our proximity to the light rail. Leave your car here and easily hop on the light rail to get downtown, to the Stadium, UW, and the airport, without having to battle traffic! (4) Grocery Stores less than 2 miles away: QFC: .7 miles Safeway: 1.4 miles and 1.7 miles Town and Country Market (Similar to Whole Foods): 1.7 miles Bringing a Pet? Please Read! We welcome well behaved cats and dogs, please let us know what type of animals you will be bringing, and their age, when booking. 2 pets maximum! Well behaved, litter box trained cats (ideally 1 year or older, max 2 cats) with no history of scratching furniture or spraying are allowed. No puppies allowed, but well behaved, house trained dogs over 1 year old are welcome. Maximum 2 dogs, if you have more than 2 dogs, please reach out before booking. Owners are responsible for their dogs at all times. Please keep barking to a minimum. *Please do not leave your dog in the home alone if they may possibly damage anything or bark excessively.* There are tons of dog friendly restaurants and activities in the area, so your pup can come with you! Dog friendly indoors and outdoors): 6 miles Brigid's Bottleshop (Beer + bring your own food in. dog friendly indoors): 8.2 miles Guest access This property has a separate (1 bed/1 bath) unit below it in the basement, which is an Airbnb through July 2025. On 8/1/25, my brother will be moving into this unit. He works 50-60 hours a week in management in the hospitality industry, and is a friendly, quiet, laid back guy. There are no shared spaces between the properties, including the yards. This Airbnb has access to the small front yard, with off street parking available in front of the house, and the downstairs unit has access to the backyard (and parking spaces behind the house). In the laundry room downstairs there is a clearly marked, locked door that leads to the other unit. Other things to note The stairs leading down to the laundry area do not currently have a pet/baby gate over them. Even with a baby gate over the main opening, the railing has wide spacing and could be a danger zone for some youngsters.
