WELCOME TO DOWNING’S CREEK This updated cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo sleeps 4 and offers the perfect Beech Mountain getaway. Located at 5,506 feet elevation, enjoy easy access to skiing, hiking, outdoor activities, and local attractions. Less than 1 mile from The Overlook Barn, a popular wedding and event venue. For added comfort during the warmer months, we've recently added a portable A/C unit in the living room and an Omni Breeze tower fan. NOTE: Resort amenities are closed annually for maintenance during the month of April. Reopening dates are not guaranteed, as these facilities are not managed by the host. WEDDING & EVENT GUESTS Downing’s Creek is an ideal home base for wedding and event guests. The condo is located less than 1 mile from The Overlook Barn, making it easy to attend celebrations without long drives. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath layout is perfect for couples, friends, or small families attending weddings or special events on Beech Mountain. THINGS TO DO IN BEECH MOUNTAIN • Skiing and snowboarding at Beech Mountain Ski Resort, the highest ski resort in the eastern U.S. (2 miles away). Free shuttles available from overflow parking — check resort schedules. • Free sledding hill just 200 yards away • Hiking and biking on scenic trails including the Emerald Outback • Summer scenic chairlift rides with stunning mountain views • Local wineries and breweries nearby • Seasonal festivals, craft fairs, and the Beech Mountain Summer Concert Series • Mile High Yoga at Beech Mountain Resort (check schedule) • Walking distance to the famous Fred’s Mercantile — a must-visit Beech Mountain favorite IMPORTANT INFORMATION • The condo is on the 3rd floor with lovely views. Access is via stairs only, as there is no elevator in the building • Winter driving: AWD or 4x4 required in inclement weather; snow chains may be necessary • Check-in: Anytime after 4:00 PM. The higher floor provides great views but may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.
