This property is an active mini farm, please expect planting, weeding, harvesting being done by our family. Your hosts do reside at this property- it is our home and we appreciate guests who are respectful of our family, crops and livestock. This custom built 3000 square-foot home offers guests a getaway from the city as it's located on its own ten acres. We live here producing fruit and vegetables crops with family labor. Our four guest rooms are located up a flight of 16 stairs. The space Guest bedrooms are located up 16 stairs. Guests have no need for all wheel drive vehicles, we are easily accessed from main roads that are very well maintained by the state of Alaska, no treacherous hills to climb. We DO RESIDE here on a ground floor level of or own. Guest access Groups of about 12-14 have access to four separate bedrooms, 1 king bed, 4 queen beds, 2 full beds, 2 singles and access to additional cots, toddler beds and pack and play cribs, a 300 square foot living room, a full jack and Jill bathroom between rooms with an oversized tub, a full bath with shower and guests laundry and a third full bath with shower/bathtub. A guest mini kitchen with fridge/microwave and Keurig. Other things to note There is 10 acres with Wasilla Creek running through in the back of the property. An electric fence is used to secure cattle. We are a farm complete with farm animals and dirt. This rental is very suitable for families but guests who have an aversion to children may want to rent elsewhere as we have children who stop in from time to time usually to harvest something from the gardens. We reside in this home and have no control over the weather or birds that sing in the back yard.
