The space The house showcases carefully curated artwork and design by regional artist, Harro Scharbau; featuring custom pieces that beautifully celebrate the nature and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest. The house is in a prime location for adventure & relaxation: *3-minute drive to Lake Kokanee (just down the hill in the neighborhood) *7-10-minute drive to Lake Cushman, Hood Canal, and downtown Hoodsport *25-minute drive to the Olympic National Forest Entrance (NOT Olympic National Park, that is 2 hrs away), Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, and Alderbrook Resort & Spa *7-8 minute drive to Potlach Brewery, Hoodsport Coffee Company, Canalside Gifts & Liquor, and Hood Canal Market Fresh grocery store *Anywhere from a 5 to 60 minute drive to countless hiking trails and outdoor activities. BED & BATH: Bedroom & Bathroom #1 – The Hot Tub Room This spacious room is more than just a bedroom — it’s your private retreat! It features a comfy king-sized bed, a cozy workspace with a desk and chair, full closet access, and direct access to the hot tub. (Ayyoo!) The ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower combo and rocks a fun retro 80s vibe. Bedroom #2 – The Garden View Room Charming and cozy, this bedroom is ideal for one or two guests. It has a queen bed, a vintage 1970s wood dresser, and direct access to the side deck — complete with a bistro table and peaceful views of the woods and a peek at the mountains. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee, sunset drinks, or a quiet read. Bedroom #3 – The Mountain View Room This bright and relaxing room offers a king-sized bed, a seating area, two full closets, and stunning views of both the mountains and lake. A perfect space to unwind and take it all in. Bathroom #2 This one’s a total time capsule — in the best way. Straight out of 1981, it features all the original fixtures, a stand-alone shower, a reclining jetted jacuzzi tub, a dry sauna, and direct access to the hot tub room. It’s basically your own private spa. Hot Tub Room Step into a tropical 1980s dream — this unique space includes a small, in-ground hot tub (2-3 people at a time is the most comfortable) and is made for relaxation and good vibes. Beach towels are provided! OUTDOOR: Enjoy a book on the massive wrap around deck with multiple designated sitting areas, have breakfast while watching the sunrise, or end the day with a cocktail overlooking the mountains. * BBQ grill (2024, Weber brand) * 2-chair, retro bistro table * 6 to 8-person outdoor dining table * 6 all-weather adirondack chairs * A massive driveway that can accommodate fun lawn games (cornhole, etc.). KITCHEN: We've stocked the kitchen with all the basics to make cooking easy and enjoyable — you'll find a blender, food processor, vintage (but fully functional!) 1960s crockpot, mixing bowls, salad spinner, multiple cutting boards, baking trays (including a muffin tin and loaf pan), a set of steak knives, and plenty of cooking and eating utensils. *There’s no ice maker, but we’ve got you covered with lots of ice trays — both standard and cocktail-sized — in the freezer. GARAGE: Play, work, relax, and stay active in the semi-converted garage equipped with: * Wooden bar with barstools; * Walking pad, bench, yoga mats, exercise bands, and free weights; * Vintage foosball table; * Nintendo Wii/Buck Hunt; * Cornhole; * Dart board; * Vintage loveseat, and * Table for cards and board games. Guest access Access to the house is keyless thru a keypad. A Lake Cushman Private Community Park Guest Pass is included for your use during your stay! All guests need to observe Lake Cushman HOA quiet hours: Weekdays 10p to 8a PT and Weekend 10p to 9a PT PARKING: There is room for at least 4 cars and/or a camper on the property. Street parking is NOT permitted. Other things to note While there's NO DIRECT ACCESS from the house to Lake Kokanee, it’s just a short 3-minute drive away!
