Studio apartment for 2, has a kitchenette, ceiling fans, additional cost for AC usage, lift, has a balcony overlooking the compound courtyard. Centrally located, 10 min to 15 min walk to the nearest malls, 10 min walk to the nearest beach access, a few min drive to park and nature trail. NOTE: There is an AC in the room however in case you would like to use them, please remember to purchase the power tokens. The entrance foyer or veranda is shared with the guests in the main 2 bedroom house however each unit has a separate main door. There are 2 adjoining doors between the studio and the main 2 bedroom house which are LOCKED PERMANENTLY and one side CANNOT access the other side. There is potential for noise from the 2 bedroom main house. Other things to note Check in time is at 2pm. Check out time is at 10am. EARLY CHECK INS Guests can request early check ins within 2 days before their arrival however they are not guaranteed and we will not be able to approve any early check in before a 2 day window period before check in. If early check in is available, guests will be charged a fee of US$ 10 per hour up until the normal check in time. LATE CHECK OUTS Guests can request late check outs within 2 days before their departure however they are not guaranteed and we will not be able to approve any late check out before this 2 day window period. If late check out is available, guests will be charged a fee of US$ 10 per hour past the normal check out time. Late check out beyond 2pm will not be allowed. *** Guests who check out late without our prior approval will be charged an additional fee. This strict rule is put in place to give the cleaners enough time to clean the property and replenish supplies before the next guest arrives.**** DRINKING WATER There is some drinking water we have provided during your stay, to reduce the impact of plastic bottles on the environment, we have a water dispenser, feel free to refill your bottle. LAUNDRY SERVICE We offer laundry service at an additional fee, please read the house guide regarding any laundry service you would like to be done including any caveats. POOL Beach towels or swimming towels have been provided for your convenience. CCTV We have a strict security system on the property. Only Airbnb booked and registered guests will be allowed to enter the property. NOISE Important Note: PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING There are a few building works going on in some apartments but only during the day up to 6pm. Quiet hours are between 6pm to 8am. AC USAGE If you would like to use the ACs in the bedrooms, please ensure you top up. There is an additional cost for their use. We have indicated how to pay for the power in the house guide and also hang a notice just next to the AC remote. We have provided adequate power for your stay however if you would like to use the ACs, please remember to top up the power tokens. LONG STAY GUESTS For mid to long term reservations, longer than 28 nights, we require the completion of a lease agreement. ***IMPORTANT*** To help conserve our environment, please close the windows and keep doors closed while running the AC units to minimize electricity consumption. Please switch off the lights, AC, and all appliances when leaving the apartment or when not in use. We have provided insect spray and insect chips for your convenience. In the event of a power outage /blackout, water shortage, flooding, weather, construction at adjacent properties or mandatory evacuations of the area by government officials due to hurricanes or other potentially dangerous situations arising from acts of nature we do not offer refunds for such an occurrence as they are largely out of our control. In Africa, there are various species of insects and animals. Although we take great care of keeping our apartment very clean, we can't guarantee that you might not come across them during your stay at our apartment. Some monkeys and birds may pay a visit once in a while. The apartment is a no smoking zone. No smoking of weed, cigarettes, shisha, drugs etc. Evidence of smoking in the apartment will incur a US$ 400 fine. Please smoke downstairs. A CCTV is present outside this property just on top of the main steel gate. There is NO surveillance located inside the home whatsoever. We are also not responsible for any belongings left behind by guests and their company. The guests will have access to the studio side ONLY.
