Forest Retreat with Ocean View - Pet Friendly

Tucked away in the Falcon Cove Marine Protected Area, our home is situated among giant pines with views of the ocean. If you are looking for a nature retreat between two of the nicest towns on the Oregon Coast, Cannon Beach and Manzanita, this house is for you! Walk 5 minutes to our secluded, nearby beach and easily access the spectacular hiking trails of Oswald West State park or just sit and relax in this peaceful home! The space Our home is a 2 bedroom 3 bathroom. The entry level has both bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms and there is a sleeper sofa that can be used in the living room and an additional bathroom downstairs. Our home is nestled in the forest with a quick walk down the path to a secluded beach. Accessing the beach does require a rocky descent so is a bit tricky for those that are unsteady. Manzanita and Cannon are both a 10 minute drive and have more accessible beach access. We use this as our second home and therefore do keep some of our own personal items on site. We also keep the kitchen well stocked. We just ask if you use the last of something to let us know so we can replace those items. Guest access Full access. Other things to note ***NEIGHBOR CONSTRUCTION*** Starting in the winter of 2025 our neighboring lot is being built. This is leading to some increased noise and presence of the crew. We do not have control over this but have asked the neighbors to keep us updated regarding expectations. Please note that due to this our nightly prices are lower than previous winters. Please save the wifi information so if there is any difficulty getting inside you can still contact us without having to drive back out. Google maps will take you to the house correctly as well. We do have a land line inside for emergencies in the downstairs den next to the television. The main part of the home is all on one floor making it relatively accessible, though there is still a lip to get into the house and the surrounding area is quite hilly and rocky. There is a smart TV in the bedroom that can be moved into the living room if desired- we prefer to keep the beach view unobstructed- it’s very light. There is a TV with DVD player in the basement. There is a 1 dog limitation with an additional $100 fee. Dogs have their own washing station with hot water outside next to the garage. We provide dog towels and pet blankets to make their stay feel welcome and protect our furniture and beautiful rugs. Please keep the dogs off the furniture and utilize the pet blankets on the rugs. Please clean up all the poop around the property. There are poop bags available. Dispose all waste in the outside garbage bin. If there is an excessive amount of dog poop left on the property there will be an additional fee. Please keep your dog on leash. At no time should your dog be left unattended in the home. Please minimize barking to be respectful to our neighbors. Thank you!
