This home is like a modern cabin with carefully upgraded and decorated elements throughout. Feel like you are in the midst of nature as you are surrounded by green all around you with panoramic views of the lush and spacious backyard. The high ceilings in the open open concept area gives you so much peace. Beautiful and brand new, custom-made barn doors upstairs, 2 king size beds, 2 full bathrooms, a full size bed in the third room, a workspace deck, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, an open living room, dining room area with very high ceilings with skylights throughout the cabin's main areas. We even have a sofa bed in the living room for the occasional request for extra guests. This is a great space for reconnecting with each other and what is most important to us. You will feel immersed by nature and a vortex of energy all around the area. The French Cabin is located in Three Rivers which is a small town in the foothills of the world famous Sequoia National Park (7 miles from the park entrance). This is the place to stay when visiting the national park and it is also a wonderful destination of its own with a beautiful lake, rivers, parks, hikes and is peaceful place to stay. Amazing backyard space with beautiful trees, hammock, chairs, BBQ and a large Tiki brand reunion smokeless burning outdoor fire pit Guest access Guests have access to the lush backyard that is vibrating with nature, as well as the South Fork Kaweah River (when in flowing season, which is most months of the year, but not during autumn/fall time period; in most cases this is from Sept to Nov). This beautiful Cabin's backyard takes you directly to the river by crossing our little "River Island Peninsula". Other things to note *Enjoy the town of Three Rivers with unique and independently owned services like the Sequoia Coffee Co., Reimer's homemade Ice Cream and Candies, Sierra Subs, Sequoia Brewing Company, River View Grill and Bar and of course the local Village Market which is open until 9pm most days. *Please note that AT&T and Verizon are the only reliable cell service providers that work in the town of Three Rivers. There is little to no reception up at the National Park. *Please note we do not offer refunds due to weather conditions, the river running dry, park closures, fires, or Internet Service Provider issues, or changes in your itinerary. *Like all homes in the area, plumbing is on a septic system. Please make sure that nothing other than toilet paper can be flushed at any time. The septic system will not be able to process anything in the toilets except toilet paper. Please use waste basket for sanitary napkins, tampons and dental floss, etc. *Limit disposal of trash into outdoor bin during your stay. This will help reduce the likelihood of bears making a mess of the trash (mostly during the fall season). *We are out in nature, there have been sightings of bears, snakes, spiders, and other unwelcome visitors. Please be aware of your surroundings at all times while on the property. *The foothills and this neighborhood once served as settlement for Yokut tribes of the National Sequoia and Mineral King Parks. *One of the neighboring properties has a small animal sanctuary with goats and other animals. This neighbor may have a loud yelling and/or "singing" episode on a very rare occasion. *Guests of all ages are welcome but it is very important for all guests to know that there are NO fences and NO gates down to the river. Always be careful walking outside, especially in the dark or at night! Flashlights are always recommended. It is your responsibility to watch to your children, any service animals, family and friends at all times! Your children should never be unaccompanied, please watch your children at all times. It is your responsibility to be cautious as you move through the backyard, over rocks and slopes, especially as you move further down the backyard space. *Release of Liability: By making this booking you are accepting and acknowledge that you have read and understood all matters on this description and that any injury or liability is your sole responsibility. *Release of Liability: By making this booking and to the maximum extent permitted under the law, YOU RELEASE FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY the Owners, Host(s), Co-Hosts, and Managers for any loss, damage, injury, or expense that we may suffer, or that our family or guests may suffer, as a direct or indirect result of use of any of the Property and due to any cause whatsoever, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION: NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OR CARE THAT MIGHT BE OWED BY ANY OF THE OWNERS PARTIES.
