The surroundings Our Ostseeglück complex is located in Gollendorf, a small farming village in the southwest of the island. The immediate vicinity to the Baltic Sea dyke (about 800 m) provides an ideal starting point for walks and bike tours to the neighboring towns and sailing ports of Orth and Lemkenhafen. Gollendorfer Bay is also a perfect standing area for kiters, surfers and stand-up paddlers and is therefore particularly suitable for beginners. Kite, surf and boat schools and rentals are located in Orth, Lemkenhafen or Gold. Shopping, doctors and pharmacies can be found in Petersdorf, just 3 km away. Beaches in the vicinity are in Püttsee, Bojendorf, Wallnau, Flügger Strand, Gold and many others. The quiet, rural and waterfront location is also ideal for dog owners.
