Welcome to Kailasa, my serene weekend retreat. Experience a one-of-a-kind stay in our charming little cottage. Our little cottage provides the perfect blend of earthy comfort, subtle luxury and is your perfect gateway to set out on an adventure in and around the iconic Nandi Hills !! The space This compact home beautifully blends the charm of the past with the conveniences of the present. It is strategically located on the Main Road to Nandi Hills and is adjoining the Marriott Mulberry Shades Resort & Spa (within 100 metres) on the same side of the road. There are multiple cafés and restaurants in the neighbourhood. It is also serviced by Zomato / Swiggy. As you step in, you'll notice the earthy, rustic ambiance highlighted by a Mangalore tile roof and an array of antiques thoughtfully placed around the house. Despite its vintage appeal, Kailasa offers all the modern comforts you could need, including air conditioning, a fridge, microwave, Google TV, and Wi-Fi. Kailasa comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 1 child on a king-sized bed. For larger groups or those seeking a bit of adventure, there's also the option of setting up a family tent with 2-3 light mattresses (at an additional charge of 1500 per head). You can choose to sleep under the porch or even under the stars, making for a truly unique experience. The outdoor space is just as inviting, with a vast open area perfect for enjoying nature. You can relax in the splash pool (upto 4 persons), take a leisurely swing, or simply unwind in the landscaped garden. Whether you're here to disconnect or stay connected, Kailasa offers the best of both worlds. Note. Additional Amenities available at a small additional price : Splash pool access - 500/- Sigri / barbeque arrangement (1 top up of coal) - 500/- Apart from Kailasa 😊, some of the other major attractions around Nandi Hills are: Skandagiri Skandagiri is a hill close to Nandi hills. The tall hill is a favourite with those seeking adventure and offers paragliding and camping opportunities. The rough and uneven trail to the top is well marked and is ideal for trekking. There is an old Tipu Sultan fort right on the top. Though in ruins now, it is a must-visit if you are around. The panoramic view of the surrounding that Skandagiri offers are beyond amazing. You can literally touch the clouds from the top. Bhoga Nandeeswara temple The majestic temple complex located about 15 kilometres away from the base of Nandi hills contains three temples- Uma Maheshwara, Bhoga Nandeeshwara and Arunachaleshwara temples. Dating back to the 9th century, it is amongst the oldest surviving temples in Karnataka. The architecture of the temple complex is beyond compare. The ceilings, the pillars, and the walls are covered with intricate and majestic carvings. Also, do not forget to check out the huge temple tank with stairs set in stone. Adiyogi Shiva Statue, Chikkaballapur Situated amidst the calming nature at the foothills of Nandi hills, the statue of Adiyogi Shiva is one of the major attractions of Chikkaballapur. It was constructed by Jaggi Vasudev, also known as Sadhguru, the founder of the Isha Foundation. The location is intended to serve as an important centre for spiritual development. Tipu's summer residence One of the very few palaces in Bengaluru, Tipu Sultan's summer residence located on the top of the Skandagiri hill was started by Haider Ali. He named Tashk-e-Jannat, 'the envy of heaven,' due to the majestic architecture, carved arches, huge pillars and beautifully painted wall and ceiling. Predominantly made of wood, the palace gives a spectacular view of the surroundings from the top. Brahmashram Not many know of this place in Nandi hills. This is a cave near the foothills where the sage Ramakrishna Paramhansa used to meditate. This is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for a bit of solitude. Guest access Guests have private access to the whole property. Other things to note We provide Basic Toilet Essentials for a stay - soap, shampoo , toilet rolls. We encourage guests to carry their own toiletries, due to personal preferences and to avoid wastage. Any additional requests for toiletries (like bubble bath, shaving kit, toothbrush / tooth paste) might be provided at an additional cost, if available. Additional Amenities available at a small additional price : Splash pool access - 500/- (as we have to clean & fill the pool with fresh water based on request) Note : At times, the pool might not be available , especially during summer season, if there is shortage of borewell water or if the Government mandates water usage for essential purposes only or if there is a power outage in the main-line (we have power back-up for the cottage but not for operating the borewell) Sigri / barbeque arrangement (1 top up of coal) - 500/- Laundry - washing , drying, folding - 500/- per load Note : While BATHTUB is available to use at no additional charge (it’s NOT a JACUZZI) .. Khadi Natural Ayurvedic Lavendar Bubble Bath or other best option - if required & available, will be charged additional Rs. 500/- Colgate toothbrush & Toothpaste - if required & available, will be charged additional Rs. 50/-
