Planning a trip up the Hudson River Valley? The historic 1751, Benjamin Ten Broeck House is conveniently located to many area attractions, but is removed from the bustle of the town just enough so that you will be able to hear roosters crowing in the morning. If you are looking for lodgings with a sense of history and maybe even a little time travel, the Ten Broeck House beckons, truly it is the only place to stay where you will indeed be surround by Hudson Valley history. We welcome you to stay in the "Great Room" added to the house in 1764, this room features comfortable period furniture, a queen size poster bed, and a private bath with a Dutch tiled shower big enough for two. Although we are considered a B&B, don't expect breakfast. What you will find in your room - is a bowl of seasonal fruit and some local baked goods along side a Keurig coffeemaker and a compact refrigerator stocked with half and half and yogurt to start your morning off with. We love our historic house and look forward to offering its genteel accommodations to the discerning traveler. Old time charm along with modern amenities cable TV, AC, and wi-fi. Guest access Private room with bath, gardens patios and grounds. And of course to visit the sheep! During your stay We try and stay out of our guests way, often even arranging to leave a key out. We want our guest to be able to arrive whenever they want, with no pressure or time schedule to keep. That being said we are always just a call away and can provide expert advice on what to see, where to be seen, and great places to dine. There is no shortage of things to do in the area, so it is helpful to have a savvy local host help winnow out the options, don't be afraid to ask! Other things to note Currently booking only 2 night stays for weekends only to insure the highest health standards during this time. But acceptation to the rule maybe possible, as bookings and dates permit.... we are striving to leave at least 4 days between guest visits. (yes, overly precautious - but that's how much we love you)
