It is part of the natural environment and offers close access to stunning coastal cliffs 🧗🏼 Outdoor activities Sport climbing: just under the viaduct there is a climbing area known as Sector Viaducto, with more than 50 routes of different levels (up to 7a+), including areas such as Placa Pilar, Chorrerilla Cañarete and Chorrera Rosa. Hiking and viewpoints: the Camino Viejo de Aguadulce passes through this area, ascending through old zig-zag sections to the Torre de la Garrofa, from where you get a panoramic view of the cove, the Cañarete, the Bay of Almería and the Cabo de Gata. 🌊 Nature & Beach Playa de La Garrofa: a rocky cove about 150 m long between cliffs, with crystal clear water and an isolated environment. From the campsite of the same name it is easily accessible. Cala del Palmer: next to the village with a gravel beach and views of the coast, very close to the viaduct area. 🏛️ Coast and heritage Archaeological site of La Ribera de la Algaida (Turaniana): cultural reserve declared a Site of Cultural Interest. It is located between Aguadulce and Roquetas de Mar, with remains from the Bronze Age to the Muslim era. Castillo de Santa Ana: Renaissance fortress in nearby Roquetas de Mar, transformed into a center for exhibitions and cultural events.
