Wake up to stunning sunrises over the ridge and unwind in a private courtyard with a hammock, seating, and a tranquil fountain. The space Happy Den: Your Tranquil Escape Overview This charming tiny home shares a roof line with the main house, offering a private entrance at the front under a canopy of roses and a serene courtyard at the back. Location Nestled on a sprawling 20-acre bush block, Happy Den is surrounded by approximately 3 acres of beautifully maintained gardens. Interior Features Upon entering, you’re greeted by an open-plan space featuring a queen bed adorned with a stunning sunset mural. A cozy window seat next to an indoor wood heater, which provides heat on those chilly nights, while a TV with internet connectivity caters to all your streaming needs. Proceed through the unique bottle walls to discover the bar and kitchen area. Here, you’ll find basic bar ware and vintage glasses at your disposal. The cheerful yellow kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and a semi-stocked pantry. It opens up to a breakfast bar that overlooks the picturesque purple courtyard. Purple Courtyard The courtyard boasts a charming fountain, a bottle screen, and a comfortable seating area and hammock shaded by a majestic oak tree. String lights create a magical atmosphere for evening enjoyment. During the day, you can enjoy being visited by a variety of local bird life. Bathroom & Wardrobe From the kitchen, access a spacious bathroom and walk-in wardrobe with views of the courtyard. The bathroom features a large shower adorned with a mosaic mural, showcasing local bird species. Art Studio On the property, you’ll also find Barreenong Blu Studios, a ceramic artist studio where a selection of works is available for purchase. Convenient Location We are just 10 minutes from Hurstbridge and its train station, and 20-30 minutes from the beautiful Kinglake and Yarra Valley wine region. Come and unwind in this peaceful retreat! Guest access Guests will have private access to the Purple Courtyard. The rest of the property is a work in progress and shared space between Happy Den, the Main House and the Bungalow. On weekends there will most likely be someone in the garden and vegetable patch keeping the property maintained and beautiful.
